They want to keep it on Earth, but the Men in Black won't allow that, so they send it away. 25 years later, Serleena comes back and wants the light. The only person who knows where it is is the former MIB agent, now postal worker, Kay. The MIB has to reach him before Serleena so they can find the light before her. Complications ensue.

6/10. This was a funny movie, but it was very gross at times. I found some of the aliens as I've never seen them before. I think we're all used to the Star Wars Aliens not to the MIB aliens.
I didn't see too many special effects. Obviously, the ones with the slug coming out of the ground and traveling below ground had to be done with FX. I was watching the DVD and they were pretty much using physical aliens rather than digitally created ones.
Will Smith's acting was generally more funny than the first one. He made a lot of jokes and wisecracks where in the first one he had to be kept quiet. Tommy Lee Jones had no clue on to what was going on when he got his memory back, but that wasn't his fault.
All in all, I think this was an ok movie that should probably be rented on DVD to get all of your money's worth.

5/10-A mediocre sequel to a movie that didn't need a sequel. The plot was overdone, which I guess was to cover for the lack of comedy. The special effects were obvious, like the first, but that isn't a bad thing. More aliens came into play than the first one, and director Sonnenfeld expects us to remember who each one is, which is hard to do. There was a few funny spots, and it was a fun ride, but it can't compare to the original.
