Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
Preview Reporter
Most People I know have read the Lord of the Rings trilogy (Personally I'm still on the first book), most of them saw the first movie and are already getting in line for the second one. J.R.R. Tolkien was in my opinion one of the best writers to be known to this earth. Tolkien's first book came out into theaters last Christmas (December 16th to be exact). This was one of the first movies to be a nonstop filmed one. The trilogy was filmed all at once in New Zealand, so really all of the cast members can just sit back and relax now, but even I bet they can't hold back their own excitement to see Tolkien's books brought onto the screen, you know, seeing it all come together. In this new movie there are a few new characters that I have unluckily not been able to find out their real names, they are Farimir (Boromir's Brother), Boromir's Father (Name Unknown for now), Gollum (Computer animated freak), Wormtounge (Who Knows?), including some more. A fact for the interested: At the end of the movie Boromir dies, but that actually happens in the second book (What? I just couldn't stop myself from looking!).
Other information is that if you like The Fellowship of the Ring you should be looking forward to something in November The extended version of the Fellowship of the Ring (Rumored to be 4 hours long!). Another thing if you are dying to see the latest trailer go to www.lordoftherings.net it will also give you all of the info you need! According to the DVD version of the Fellowship of the Ring, the main climax, excitement point in the second movie is Helm's Deep, the scene is where Rohan must defend themselves against 10,000 Uruk Hai in a base so huge when it was brought down to 10% normal size you could still walk through it like it was the White House (Imagine it at full size!). I'm not really sure what my next preview will be; I'll just wing it, until then look at some reviews and some insight from the reporters. I would like tips on what you guys the viewers want to see. E-mail me on what movies you want to hear about, [email protected]. I'll see you guys at the movies!
