George actually got his big break starring in "E/R," a sitcom that lasted for barely a season. After stints on "The Facts of Life," "Roseanne" and "Sisters," George finally hit the big time on another "ER" -- the NBC powerhouse drama. After his departure from the successful hospital drama, Clooney went on to star in such big-screen hits as "Batman and Robin," "Out of Sight," "The Perfect Storm" and "Ocean's Eleven." Clooney is also a producing partner of Oscar winner Steven Soderbergh ("Traffic"), who directed George and Jennifer Lopez in "Out of Sight." George played center on his high school basketball team and tried out for the Cincinnati Reds baseball team when he was 16. He can still beat former "ER" costar Noah Wyle on the court when he's not pursuing his other hobby -- motorcycles.
