Ferris Bueller's Day Off
Cast
Ferris Bueller-----Matthew Broderick
Cameron-----Alan Ruck
Sloan-----Mia Sara
Edward Rooney-----Jeffrey Jones
Jeanie-----Jennifer Grey
Director-----John Hughes
Comedy-Ferris Bueller has a reputation of skipping school. He does so one day by pretending to be sick. His sister, Jeanie, knows about it and is dying to tell his parents. Ferris calls his also-feigning-illness friend Cameron to come along, steal his dad's fancy car, and pick up Ferris' girlfriend Sloan from school. All this looks like a truancy case, and Dean Edward Rooney knows it. He investigates the case further, even by going into the Bueller's house. Now Ferris, Cameron, and Sloan must return on time while Rooney and Jeanie find evidence that Ferris is not sick.

3/10. In a way I remember seeing this movie, but it was not very good if I recall. The jokes weren't funny, and the plot was bad. Go see if u have a 10 year old. Maybe they'll like it better.

3/10-I only laughed about 3 times, and smiled twice. It had a fine premise, but I expected better from a John Hughes film. You could tell how hard it was trying to be funny by each time they said a bad word. If I was in the theater, all the ten-year-olds would crack up. Even Ben Stein didn't make me laugh. It was also extremely predictable. Also, at the end, I was rooting for Jeanie to beat Ferris home. Movies are supposed to make you root for the main character, but it's obvious that we're supposed to root for the bad guy. The supposed "bad guy" had everything bad happen to him, while Ferris had everything go perfectly. Sounds more like a Home Alone.

What the heck is wrong with you? Ferris Bueller is an 80s classic? It deserves an 7/10 at least!
8/10 Funny movie. This is an 80s classic. I don't know what's up with the other two reviewers above me, but they're whacked, no offense. I loved the one-liners in this film, they were great. All the humor was good, except it got a little cheesy at the downtown scene where Ferris is singing on the parade float. To be more critical though, the plot was pretty shallow and the part where Ferris is acting like a little kid around his parents (you'd have to see the movie) is pretty retarded. It's still a good movie. .
