5/10. Fate deals young orphan Matt Murdock a strange hand when he is doused with hazardous waste. The accident leaves Matt blind but also gives him a heightened "radar sense" that allows him to "see" far better than any man. Years later Murdock has grown into a man and becomes a respected criminal attorney. But after he's done his "day job" Matt takes on a secret identity as "The Man Without Fear," Daredevil, the masked avenger that patrols the neighborhood of Hell's Kitchen and New York City to combat the injustice that he cannot tackle in the courtroom.
Eh...this was a so so movie. I was thinking throughout the whole entire movie that this was a spinoff of Spiderman, The Matrix, and Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. It was a combination of all 3. The way the Daredevil moved seemed like Spiderman, and his extra sensory powers acted like a Spider Sense. Everyone flipped off the wall and did slow motion things like The Matrix. The last thing is everyone jumped like Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. I should probably throw another movie in there too, which would be Tomb Raider.
The characters were ok. I liked Bullseye, being able to hit anything and everything with any tool to any object. I didn't realize that Colin Farrell was the Bullseye, since he was just in a recent movie titled Phone Booth. Ben Affleck was fine. He was blind but he made everyone seem like that he could see. I guess, the best person was Jennifer Gardner. She's a pretty good actor and seems to be in a lot of things that I've seen.
There were several points in the movie that I felt unrealistic. Obviously the jumping, and the Sensory powers thing, but this one was a bad mistake on the movie making part. When Bullseye and Electra are fighting, Electra throws a dagger, Bullseye catches, and throws it back at Electra. It goes right through her hand, but on the other side of the dagger, there is no blood. Then she yanks it out of her hand, and once again, no blood. After that, she fights with Bullseye and falls. I think all of us would like to think that she died, but she didn't! Why, because there's a sequel... Another part in the movie. Bullseye and Daredevil are fighting. Bullseye gets snipered by the police, and the bullet goes right through both of his hands. Then he gets pushed out the window by the Daredevil and lands on a car. It's a 4 story drop! Once again, I read some posts, and there's a scene in the credits where he's in a body cast or something ALIVE! Then Daredevil gets stabbed, and has strength to beat everyone, even though he's hurt! I think all 3 of them are Jesus Christ! HOW DO YOU LIVE THROUGH THAT?!?!?
Anyway, if you liked the comic book, you'll be happy with the movie. I never read the comic book, and I really didn't like the movie. Just go rent Spiderman, and you'll be much happier.
