Family. Air Bud, the first. Josh, our normal, sad boy who has just moved from his old home, is now in another town. He is very depressed there because he can't make any friends. He finds a rotted, weed filled basketball court behind a church and decides to play basketball. He then finds a stray dog. He takes him home and starts to play with him. Buddy, the dog's name, is kept even though he is someone else's dog. Buddy and Josh go through a bundle of fun and hardships through the whole entire movie.

8/10. This was a wonderful family movie. The characters were awesome and so believeable. I loved Josh and Buddy. They made the perfect duo. It was also a little teary too. I think that this is the best Air Bud movie at of the 4 that have been made. This movie took a lot of work but it paid off in the end.

7/10 It was one of those "heart-warming family films" that are appropriate for all ages. The humor was juvenile enough for the younger kids, but too juvenile for those over 10. The emotional situations of the characters were ones that viewers could probably relate to easily (except for Buddy's). The actors did well I guess (it's been awhile since I saw the movie). The movie in general was pretty predictable, but that didn't make much difference in its quality.
