| Part Three Brian stirred awake and blinked his tired eyes. He gave a startled jolt when he realized there was someone snuggled closely against his chest. He couldve sworn he fell asleep alonehe hadnt been up for sex after returning from the Death of Glitter concert. Soon foggy memories of Curt coming to him that morning played through his mind. Brian shuddered when he remembered why he was naked. Curt had touched him so gently, full of such love. Why had he come back, though? Rubbing his eyes with slender fingers, Brian looked at the small clock on the night table. It was four in the afternoon. He groaned, his sleeping schedule was thoroughly screwed. But Brian had more important problems on his handsand in his arms. Curt had come to him, seemingly out of no where. Brian had dreamed of his lover since the day he had stormed out of the recording studio, leaving him heartbroken. He had nearly killed himself over losing Curt. He couldnt quell the surge of anger that ran through his veins. Curt had ruined Brians life, and now he thought he could just waltz back into it with no explanation? No reason why he had walked away without a second thought? No justification for ripping his heart out!? These thoughts that dizzily swam through Brians head were slowly winding him into a tight ball of nerves. His irritation nearly melted when he let his eyes rest on Curt. He was so innocent with his cheeks flushed and that beautiful body of his wrapped in bed linens. That body that Brian wanted to explore with his fingertips and tease with flicks of his tongue and rub against his own until they didnt know where the others body started In one frustrated shove, Brian pushed Curt away from his body, causing him to groan and look up at him through squinting eyes. What is it babe? Curt asked, but when Brian turned around from pulling on his pants and he could see the silent indignation radiating from him, he said with quiet intensity, What the hell is this all about? No, what is THIS all about? Brian glared at Curt, throwing his hands at him. What prompted it Curt? You act like I dont exist for over a month and then you appear in my bed? Curt rubbed the sleep from his eyes with a furious swipe of his hand. I dont know why I came, okay? This was a lie. He knew exactly why he came. Some kid had finally smacked some sense into him. Brian was rapidly losing the pleasure and contentment he had felt only minutes before. He scoffed, I know how you operate, what did you come here for? What did I come here for? Curt repeated. He was sitting up now, the blanket covering his lap. He would have gotten up and slapped Brian if he werent so worried about his body betraying his intentions. You know damn well what Im talking about. What do you want? Do you want a new contract? Are you looking for money? Or did you just come here for a quick fuck? Curt felt like he had been punched in the stomach. His heart ached as the realization of what he had just said pulsed through him. He would never tell Brian, but that had hurt. God, he whispered, almost to himself before his voice rose. I didnt come here for anything! I wanted to see you! Cant for the life of me remember why. And youve got your head up your ass if you think Id ever come to you for help. Curt swallowed to keep from losing his angry faade and collapse into tears. I was right all along. Youre nothing, nothing but Maxwell Demon! Fucking space queen on your fucking high horse, with all your fucking henchmen! God, I hate you! Before Curt could even move to storm out of the room, Brian was wrapped around his body, his mouth covering Curts with forceful kisses. Curt attempted to push away but Brian wouldnt let go. Brians fingers kneaded into Curts hair, forcing him closer. Both were trembling from the intensity, their bodies flush from the waist up and Brians legs enclosed tightly around Curts naked hips. Parting, they gasped for breath. You wanted to feel it, Brian growled, shaking his momentarily stunned lover. Do you? Do you feel me, Curt?! Curt nodded, a sob escaping his lips. Yes, he breathed, sliding one of Brians hands to his lips so he could place a kiss on the warm palm. He clenched his eyes, unable to take all the heady emotions running through him. Brian let his perspiring forehead fall against Curts shoulder. They sat like that, one supporting the other. Their hearts thumped together, pale skin mingling and breath tickling the others neck. There was still so much for them to work through if they had any hope of a relationship. But somehow Curt knew, as he stroked Brians soft brown hair, that they could be happy together as long as they didnt let egos get in the way. Curt knew in his still racing heart that everything would be okay. He could feel it. |
