Hello and welcome,
By now you should have been given a briefing as to what your situation is, however may still be feeling somewhat in the dark. With this introductory package we here at Bazmark Enterprises feel that you will be ready for your first day out in the field in no time.
Enclosed you should find:
-This introductory pamphlet
Including information on faerie technique and newly acquired abilities
-Individual case files on the parties involved
Q: Why have I been chosen?
A: Generally replacement faeries are ordinary individuals within society who possesses a special skill that God deems useful for particular cases.
CASE TYPES:
TRUTH- Remove the cover from distorted vision, enhance knowledge, & provide clarity.
BEAUTY- Ranges from aiding in realisation of inner beauty, inspiring works of art, or merely enhancing physical beauty.
FREEDOM- Liberation of the soul, the individual, the mind, the body.
LOVE- The love of a mother, father, blood relation, friend or lover...all you need is love.
Q: So I’m a faerie, what can I do that I couldn’t before?
A: -Faerie’s have the (limited) ability to alter shape and form. They may become visible to their human charges, if they believe it is completely necessary and will enhance the possibility of success. However this cannot be sustained for long periods of time and should not be attempted frequently.
-Faeries act much like an invisible muse, or counsellor. With your new form you will acquire the ability to hear your charges subconscious, and in return you will be able to respond to their deepest, most private thoughts and help them reach their destiny, by doing no more than working through any inner conflict and so on.
-In effect you can move objects, but this must be done through a human. With the right thought placement, you can enable charges (and others) to move objects at your command. The power of suggestion is quite extraordinary.
Q: Where are my wings?
A: When you are transported to you new charge, you will find yourself temporarily transformed in faerie form.
-Upon transformation you will also obtain faerie dust, allowing you to alter the reality of those who come in contact with it.
Upon completion your natural form will be restored.
Q: How to I get to and find my charge?
A: Read the attached files, familiarise yourself with the case before you. Once you have done this, you will be transported directly to appropriate time and place.
-You will be placed in the vicinity of a charge.
Q: How do I complete my task and/or return home?
A: You have been given an incredibly important job, what you do will affect the outcome of many peoples lives, often for the better, however, occasionally inevitably for the worse...this is the process of life and its lessons.
-There is no set formula for completing any given case. They are all individual and open to your own unique interpretation. You have been given a vague objective, however, you were chosen for possessing a particular passion/skill, and it is this that will guide you on your way.
-Added incentive for faeries to complete their task is that they will not be returned to their previous location until completion has occurred. The instant you have secured your charge’s destiny you will be relocated.
-Beware- You may believe you have completed the task before you but, circumstances may require further persistence. If you are not transported after you complete what you believe to be your goal, continue working. You will know completion to a satisfactory level has occurred only through instantaneous departure.
Mariclaire had a feeling of excitement about this, however also a feeling of dread. This sounded terribly difficult, what if she was unable to complete the prescribed destiny? Would she never get back home? She decided she would read the individual case files enclosed so as to develop a better view of her predicament...

Christian is an incredibly talented writer, however has not yet had the opportunity to display his talents to the world. He is boyishly charming in his ways, however needs to take the journey into manhood before he can truly express himself at the high standard which he is capable of. He has been through many life-altering experiences, recently the death of his mother, and the overbearing nature of his father have changed his perspective on life and resulted in his desire to move from London to Montmartre and make a life as a writer. However, there is just one thing holding him back on his journey to insight and greatness- he has never been in love.
OBJECTIVE: Do whatever you must, to make Christian meet, Mademoiselle Satine, at the Moulin Rouge on his first night in Montmartre. This meeting is vital to their joint and individual destiny.
-You do not need to worry about counselling Christian in the ways of love, for he is emotionally equipped for this journey and upon his first sight of Satine we have people stationed to ensure his spark is ignited.
PERCEIVED DIFFICULTIES: He may need encouragement, and frequent confidence boosts to voice his true feelings.
-However once he is positioned, his natural ability to woo will shine.

CHARGE: Satine Desmergers
Satine is the top Courtesan and star of the Moulin Rouge in Paris, Montmartre. Her mother abandoned her as a child, leaving her to be raised an only child by her father. The untimely death of her father in her mid teens, forced Satine to a life on the street until she was taken in by her now surrogate family at the Moulin Rouge. Her current father figure is a one, Harold (AKA Harry) Zidler, and she seeks solace from ex-courtesan Marie. Years of prostitution, and performing to people’s standards in order to receive material rewards has closed Satine off to the prospects of love. She has been warned never to fall in love, and believes it is no longer possible for such an occurrence to happen to her. This is one thing missing before Satine can complete her life’s destiny, she must experience true love.
OBJECTIVE: Do whatever you must, to make Satine meet, Misere Christian, at the Moulin Rouge on his first night in Montmartre. This meeting is vital to their joint and individual destiny.
-In addition to this you must counsel Satine in the ways of love, release her inner hearts desire, make her bring them to the surface. Once she has expressed her inner yearning for love, be sure Christian is the next person she lays eyes on and stars will collide.
PERCEIVED DIFFICULTIES: Satine is strong of will and not used to accepting her own beliefs and desires, due to years of emotional suppression.
- With the right manipulation and timing, she will give herself completely to the prospect of love.
Mariclaire sighed, this wasn’t going to be easy, but obviously she must have been chosen for a good reason...right? She had absorbed as much information as possible and knew she would just have to wing it...uh, so to speak.
“Well?” Mariclaire said waiting for something to happen...it didn’t seem she had much control over what was going on.
A soothing voice filled the air, “Mariclaire, stand by for transportation to Montmartre, Paris 1899,” it began.
“1899!!!” Mariclaire exclaimed in shock.
Continuing the voice finished, “Green Faerie is go in 5...4...3...2...1.”
