Bahet is an old demon. He was created a Servitor of Oblivion, a hate-filled creature who wanted an end to all things. His first "tour of duty" on earth was three and a half thousand years ago, in the great city of Waset in Egypt. While he lurked in the shadows of this city, he came across another of his band; a small, weak Shedite called Saminga. He was rather taken with this creature, and was very impressed with the discoveries he was making. Before he could approach Saminga he was moved to the Far East on further missions for his Princess, but he never forgot the angry Fleshless he had seen.
More than two thousand years later a being named Haagenti came into power, and Mariel was (ironically) lost forever. This didn't upset Bahet terribly, and he swiftly approached the now well-enthroned Prince of Death. Bahet was rather honey-tongued for a Shedite, and managed to flatter Saminga into taking him into service. The newly signed-up Servitor of Death did quite well for himself over the next several hundred years, growing in power and distinction in Saminga's ranks. But then, just as things were really beginning to look up, around about 1750, after he produced a really nasty killing spree in Russia, he had a run-in with the Archangel Gabriel. Bahet only barely escaped, slipping back to Abaddon as his companions were torn to pieces. He spent a long time in Trauma after that, and finally woke a shell of his former self, stripped down to five Forces, laden with Discord, and forgotten in Saminga's hierarchy.
It's taken Bahet a long time to regrow and get noticed in Hell. Saminga has paid him very little attention until recently, when he acquired his ninth Force, but he's finally gotten another chance on Earth. He's yet to run into any angels, but oh when he does... the thoughts keep him going.
Bahet was always fond of using terror tactics to turn his victims on each other. He would have served Beleth or Malphas pretty well, and always had a good grasp of when to menacingly use his various songs.
His Discord has something of a profound effect on any hosts he takes; combine this with his low Will and you will see why he rarely strays outside the safety net of corpses. The eyes of a host will become cloudy with cataracts; their skin will notably pale, and begin to fester if the stay is in any way long; cracked, lumpy horns will emerge from above the temples. Obviously all of these flaws disappear when Bahet leaves the host, but prolonged possession by the demon can have unpleasant side effects on a host's health. Bahet is hopping to prove himself enough that Saminga will reduce some of his Discord as soon as possible.
Bahet is a balanced, though Discord-heavy, starting PC.
