She first did Sailor V, with was just a short story about a normal clumsy school girl that transforms into a great warrior, that saves the day, her name was sailor V (Venus). From that short story Naoko Takeuchi came up with the hit series Sailormoon, she kept the idea of the main character being a normal clumsy school girl that transforms into a great fighter, who calls herself Sailormoon. She has her team who helps her fight as well, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus(sailor V from her first story), Saturn, Pluto, Neptune, Uranus and sailormoon�s daughter Chibimoon. Sailormoon was the princess of the moon, and all her team were princesses of there planets, they were attacked and sailormoon�s mum used the last of all her power to send all of them to earth, to be reborn. She also sends 2 cats, talking cats, to give sailormoon her memory of her past life and her powers.
Sailor Moon is set in Japan, in Tokyo. Usagi is the name of Sailormoon and she�s 14.
Sailor Moon was first published in 1995 by Kodansha Ltd. Then published in English in 2001 by Mixx entertainment (Tokyopop).
