NAME
          DtCnetCharacterCount - Get the number of characters in the
          current model.

     SYNOPSIS

          int  DtCnetCharacterCount( int *count )

     DESCRIPTION
          DtCnetCharacterCount() returns the number of MetaCycle
          characters in the current model, via the pointer to the
          count parameter.


     DIAGNOSTICS
          DtCnetCharacterCount() returns one on success and zero on
          failure.
