TV Land has removed "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman" from their "TV Land Kitschen" lineup.
(article added 09/01/02)

Sony/Tri-Star apparently is charging such a high price for episodes of "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman" that TV Land only purchased 35 shows.  They ran the shows for several weeks in the summer of 2002, but after the 35 episodes (and a repeat of the first episode) the channel ended the run.  "MH2" was combined with its companion show "Fernwood 2-Night" on the Kitschen.

I'm just waiting for some wise individual in TV programming to be bold enough to schedule "MH2" for more than (the thankfully provided) 35 episodes on TV Land in the summer of 2002.  And could the "MH2" spinoff "Forever Fernwood" be lurking somewhere in the wings?  TV Land even aired one episode of that almost never seen show when it did a tribute to Norman Lear, the developer of the three shows mentioned here.
