Plot Outline: A sexually agressive, homosexual, party animal falls for a young Mormon missionary promoting fireworks from their respective friends and families.

An attendee wrote about the film:

The movie stars Wesley A. Ramsey as Christian, a "pretty boy" type living in California. During the early part of the film, all Christian cares about is his next sexual encounter, and his shallow friends at the restaurant where he works. That all changes when a group of young Mormon missionary's move into the apartment next door. His friends bet that he won't be able to seduce one of his new neighbors, Aaron Davis (Steve Sandvoss) whom Christian suspects is gay.

{
Mary Kay plays the Steve Sandvoss character's mother, Gladys Davis}

As Christian and Aaron become friends, Christian begins to carefully examine his own lifestyle. In an attempt to show Aaron he isn't shallow, he volunteers for a meals on wheels type organization. There he meets Keith (Erik Palladino), a gay man dying presumably from AIDS who helps Christian discover what it really means to love someone. When Aaron and Christian finally share their first kiss, the film takes a serious turn as the two are discovered and Aaron is sent away. One thing that I took away from this film was the Mormon attitude towards homosexuals. I was shocked by the actions Aaron's family and their church took when they found out about his lifestyle.

Watching this movie, you can't even tell it was made on a miniscule budget. The talent in this film was amazing, including the supporting cast. Joseph Gordon-Levitt ("3rd Rock from the Sun") was excellent as Ryder, Aaron's fellow missionary who initially displayed an outright hatred of homosexuals. Jacqueline Bisset who plays restaurant owner Lila was great as the boss and friend to the other characters.
