| King's Highway 96 |
| Hwy 96 is a highway of much intregue among road enthusiasts in Ontario. It was, and still is since its downloading in 1998, a highway that exists only on Wolfe Island, and is connected to Hwy 2 in Kingston on Ontario's mainland via a ferry. Hwy 96 ran from a township road on the west end of the island to Port Metcalfe, on the east end of the the island, via Marysville. |

| Highway 96 looking eastbound from Highway 95 in Marysville, on Wolfe Island. The main ferry dock to Kingston is located just past the Beer Store seen at left, while the winter ferry dock to Kingston is located about three kilometres to the east at Highway 7051. Eventhough both Highways 95 and 96 were downloaded in 1998, they are still fully signed, as is evident from the Highway 96 shield in the above photo. Photo taken 19 June 2004.
