| Hwy 86 was an important highway that linked Kitchener-Waterloo to Listowel and Kincardine. The highway ran from Hwy 7 in Kitchener northwest to Hwy 21 at Amberley. Hwy 86 was a freeway on the Conestoga Parkway in Kitchener, from Hwy 7 north to St. Jacobs. Hwy 86 was downloaded north of Waterloo Rd 15 in 1998, and the rest was changed over to Hwy 85 in 2003. |
