| Hwy 71 is an important highway that links Kenora and points west with Fort Frances and Minnesota. The highway runs from Hwy 17 east of Kenora south to the Ontario-Minnesota border crossing in Fort Frances, and continues south as U.S. Hwy 71. Hwy 71 is home to the famous Sioux Narrows Bridge, which unfortunately must soon be replaced. You can read about the bridge here. |
