| Hwy 56 was a highway that served as part of an alternate route to Dunnville, primarily from the east end of Hamilton and Stoney Creek, and points north. The highway ran from Hwy 20 at Elfrida south to Hwy 3 west of Canfield, to the east of Cayuga, and could be accessed easily from the QEW via Hwy 20. The entire highway was downloaded in 1997. |
