| Highway 44 was an important highway that was part of the link between Almonte and Ottawa, via Highway 17. Hwy 44 ran from Hwy 17 west of Carp (now Highway 417 interchange #155) west to Highway 15 west of Almonte. Despite its importance, it was downloaded completely in 1997. |
