| Highway 1 |
| Hwy 1, also known as the Trans-Canada Highway, is the main east-west highway through British Columbia, and is a major freeway route in Vancouver. The highway runs from the ferry ramp on Horseshoe Bay in West Vancouver east to the BC-Alberta border. Hwy 1 is a freeway from its western terminus to Hope. Hwy 1 is part of the Trans-Canada highway throughout the whole province, and continues through Alberta. |
