つまり、見かけは外国人だけど
中身は日本人で、しかも英語に慣れていない人の耳には、元々の意味の「知らないフリ」にしか聞こえないってわけ！
In other words, even though you look like a foreigner, you are in fact a Japanese. What is more, since your ears are not used to English, you could only understand the original meaning of that phrase which is “Play innocent”!

なぜか階段でトレーニングに勤しんでいたFBI捜査官アンドレ．キャメルの４人！
And Andre Camel, the FBI Agent who was working out on the stairs for some reason

手がかりは社長の机の上にあったちぎられたメモ用紙...
The clue is the torn blank memo papers on the president's desk...

 
[Jodie]
社長の手やペンやメモの端に社長の血がついていた事から、
社長が死ぬ間際に書き残したメモを犯人が持ち去ったと推測され、
ペンの跡から割り出されたその文字は...
From the fact that the president's hand, pen and the edge of memo papers had stains of president's blood, it was assumed that the culprit took away the message which the president had left just before he died. Based on the traces of the pen on the paper, we got the message:

[Jodie]
Bring my tux

 
[Jodie]
私のタクシードを取って来てくれ．．．
Which means “Bring my tuxedo”

[Jodie]
秘書のイリーナさんの話によると、今晩社長はパーティーに出る予定になっていて...　そのメモは社長が自分に宛てた伝言だろうという事...
According to the story of Irina, the secretary, we understand that the president was supposed to have a party tonight and this message was addressed towards her...

[Jodie]
もうわかるでしょ？
You have understood already, no?

 
[Megure]
だ、だからそのただのメモをなんで犯人が...？
Wh- Why the culprit had to take that message?

 
[Takagi]
そ、そうか！！
I see!!

英語が読めなかったからですよ！！
Because he could not read English!!

犯人は意味がわからなかったから怖くなって持って行ったんです！
The culprit did not understand the meaning of the message so he got scared and took it with him!

 
[Takagi]
恐らく犯人は拳銃で社長を撃った後何か探し物とかしていた所、
I guess the culprit was looking for something after shooting the president with his gun,

 
[Takagi]
死んだと思った社長がペンを持って
メモ用紙をつかんでいる事に気づき、
自分の事が書かれたと思い
慌ててメモを持ち去った
Then he noticed that the president was holding the pen and the memo papers,
so the culprit thought that president wrote something about him and took it in confusion.

[Takagi]
でも、実は社長は何かを書こうとする前に息絶えてしまっていて、
But in reality the president stopped breathing before being able to write anything,

そのメモは英語が読める人ならすぐにわかる秘書への伝言だったんです！
And that memo was a message for his secretary because she can read English!

つまり、塾で英語教師をやっている、

In Japanese, "Reception" can also mean a party to give a formal welcome to a guest
