Confirmations  Ministry of the Holy Spirit
Confirmations are vital for doing the will of God. Sometimes they happen in the most strangest and unexpected ways. Let me say this. I was at the test centre with a pupil, and an instructor says to me, had your holidays yet? No says I. Then he said to me I didn't think you'd had one for some time, I remember you said how busy you were. You need a break, have some time off, go and book a rest. The way he said it sounded as if he was saying to me Bucharest. This is the capital of ROMANIA. Once again, being careful to listen, I was convinced that it was yet another confirmation to go to Romania. Being so certain, I telephoned Dave Sumner, the pastor in Exeter, and said yes. This is just the start. Let's go on and see how things develop through prayer and the activated Ministry of the Holy Spirit.                                                                                 Read on.
We had just come through the border at Nickelsdorf -  Austria, into Germany and all in need of refreshments.  We stopped in a large parking area at Deggendorf and prepared for rest  and food..  Shorty after we had parked the trucks, two other trucks pulled in close to us.  A man with a beard came to me and introduced himself, gave me a small card, and pointed out his address in Mannheim, that if at any time we were passing in the future and needed a place to stop for rest, we would be most welcome.      His name was Johannes Neudeck, delagate and co-ordinator for the European Evangelical Alliance.   As he handed me the small business like card, his thumb covered up another address in the bottom left hand corner of the card.   He said he and his team are just returning from Croatia, and on their way back home.    They stayed for about 15 minutes then continued on their journey home.  What follows as a result of this meeting is truly amazing...........

We eventually left and our next stop was in Spessart, Germany, for a good nights sleep.... In the morning, parked next to our truck was a similar truck with British number plates. How interesting we should see this so far away from home.  On the side of truck was a sticker which said " MISSION AID EAST"   the truck belonged to Central Heating Systems based in Swansea, and Cardiff.    Our next door neighbour - when we lived in Cardiff -  worked for this firm, but he wasn't the driver  -  the vehicle was on loan.  Diana my wife takes the telephone number from the side of the van and says to me:-  "I feel the Lord is saying we're going to need this soon"   Six months after that trip, we were ready to go again with tons of aid.  I tried all the local van hire firms but they had nothing available,or their operators licence didn't allow for hired vehicles to go outside of the U.K.  Diana reminded me of the telephone number from the truck we saw at Spessart.   So I rang the number and spoke to Neville Wilshire, who said this to me. "The Lord told me to reserve a vevicle for those needing one to carry aid to poor countries"  I can let you have a truck for the entire month of September.   But you'll need to contact a man named Richard Downes for your insurance.   I did this, and Richard said that i might be an answer to prayer.   He had prayed for the Lord to send him someone with some experience to  go to Croatia with vital medical aid where the war was still raging.    We met and spoke about  the possible trip, and Richard asked me if I had any contact names to give him of people I know of working in the Balcans.   I gave him the small card that Johannes Neudeck gave to me when we stopped in Deggendorf.    Richard asked me if I'd noticed the address in the bottom left hand corner of the card.   I said no.   Richard said, this is the address I want you to take the aid to in Croatia.....and this card was given to me six months ago in Germany.  Friends, only God could do this.    When I eventually got to the address, in Puscine, the first person I met at the door was  Johannes Neudeck.   He smiled and said  "I know you"    Oh Lord my God. When I in awesome wonder....HOW GREAT THOU ART....Amen....  There must have been at least 15 trucks at the "Moj bliznji" distribution centre waiting to be unlaoded before Christmas.   One of the trucks had this scripture on the sides of the trailer.  What a testimony                                                  as it travelled across Europe.  It's a little bit faint because I reduced it
but it says:-
Jesus Christ says:-   "I am the Way the Truth and the Life"
(John 14: 6).
This inspired me to learn the scripture in the Croation
language so I could pass it on to those desperately seeking for some
hope in their lives at the various refugee camps we would be helping
out at over the next three weeks.     Our hotel was the Baptist church
which was open for the whosoever....24/7.  that's what we call church.
The music playing is:-  MY GOD IS AN AWESOME GOD.
