The Outcome

The outcome of all this training set a challenge for me in particular. Could I handle the running of an aid trip on my own. How do I go about getting support. How will all the expenses be brought in.  What about things to take.  Where do I go for the paperwork, invitation, visas, the shipping documents, manifesto of aid. It all seemed to much as nothing was explained about any of the administration.  I just could not even think about it.   Leave it with the Lord.   (A scapegoat?)  I don't know, but I did know one thing, that if was the will of the Lord, he wouldl equip me.   God never calls anyone to do something without making the provisions to do it.  This was a tall order and I had no experience whatsoever in this area of admin for mission work.   I just had to let go and let God.....any attempt on my part would end in disaster - leave well alone.   Pray about it.   Whatever was to happen next would be in God's set time, just as he did to confirm going at the start.   Whatever next, I would have to be patient, waiting for answer to prayer.   Trusting God only for the next step, whatever,  whenever.   There were too many questions and problems that I had to answer to, someone greater than I had to deal with this...and He did.
Now we are able to confirm some of the blessings we had prayed about, with all the uncertanties of simply not knowing what to do for the best.  "Call unto me and i will answer thee and show thee great and mighty things which thou knowest not"   Says the LORD.      (Jeremiah 33:3)

A retail food store in North Devon donates 480 tins of food......... A fruit market in Cardiff donates several bags of potatoes, boxes of oranges.  Rookwood Hospital gives away 680 artificial limbs to take to Croatia....
Hospital Supplies in Velindre donates 1,000 sheet and pillow cases...... We could have had 100 matresses as well, but didn't have room to take them.  We also had 60,000 surgical blades. Six ward chairs, 14  electric table fans, plus many other items.   With the closure of the C.R.I. there was an ECG machine, and  had 2 incubators from Braunton Hospital.....

A textile warehouse gave us thousands of garments all because they wanted to free up some space to bring in new designs.....  Hospitals in Swansea, Abergavenny, East Grinstead, Llwynypia and Cardiff, simply could not help enough with donations. We were overwhelmed by it all.

With all the trips we've done up till 2008, only twice did we need to rent vehicles.   First vehicle donated to us was a Freight Rover Combi.   The second vehicle donation was a  Mercedes Benz  408D mobile home, 22 foot with hook-up for trailer or caravan. This lasted 10 years. Finally we had a Vauxhall Cavalier Envoy and brand new trailer donated to us..........
To date, everything that we have been able to take to Romania, Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia, has freely been given, and it all started with a single prayer in 1991.   "LORD, what would you have me to do"   not a lengthy prayer, not a complicated one with specific requests, not even one with fancy words.... Just 8 simple every day common words of prayer..........And
THIS IS THE OUTCOME.
