Signs and Wonders The prayer meeting is in the "GRACE ROOM" Scroll down till you reach the place of Gods'                    Riches                  At                         Christs'                 Expence               Who will stand in the GAP as God Answers Prayers A brother and sister from Merthyr in Wales had several boxes of adult "TENA" (sanitary) pads, and asked if they would be of any use in Romania.
We accept that God will lead people to us with things that are needed, so we very  gratefully received them and made sure they were made ready to take on the next trip.   When the time came to load up, the pads were included although not marked  for anyone in particular.  Off we go and three days later, we arrive at Arad where we stayed again with Ciprian and his family.  After a few days of visiting some families, Ciprian and I were on our way back from the market and passed the Jewish Old Folks' Home. I asked Ciprian to find out from the matron if there was anything they needed, perhaps some "TENA" sanitary pads?   So together we enquired to ask her that very question.   Matron was amazed.  She asked us "how could you have possibly known we used our last one this morning and there are no more left"   We had to admit, we didn't know, but God did....   The boxes of pads had been kept in Ciprians house for almost a week.  Divine intervention, Gods' perfect timing led us to this Jewish home just at the right moment to be able to witness the love and the power of El Shaddai.
On the weekend,  Pastor Bora from Philadelphia church phoned Ciprian and said:-  "I see brother John is with you from the U.K.  can i speak with him"    Ciprian hands me the phone and the Pastor invites me to speak at the evening service.  "We'll be preaching  on Revelation 13;  which verses would you like to speak on";  I said "the last two verses will be enough, thank you".   At the end of the meeting, four people received Christ as their Saviour giving Glory to The Lamb.  A sister came to me with a word from the Lord and it was this:-  "I know your disappointments but you are to continue with that which I have you to do, and you will be blessed.  Many have already been blessed, and many more will be blessed also although Satan seeks to hinder.  DO NOT GIVE UP".    What a prophetic word that was, and am I glad to know what it says in Romans 11: 29.    "For Gods' gifts and His call are irrevocable"   That simply means they cannot be reversed. Four lost souls receive the gift of Salvation..........and those gifts cannot be reversed.  "And they went forth,  and preached everywhere,  the Lord working with them,  and confirming the word with signs following"  Amen.  (Mark 16: 20).  Diana and I went to a boot sale, and a man was selling new CD players for just five pound each.   We asked why they were so cheap.   He told us there was a problem with the selector switch for CD to tape and radio.  It's sticking and the CD position is not able to function properly.   I said that was a shame, we would have liked them to take to Romania, and although only a fiver each decided against the idea.  The man tells us "I've only got four and don't really want to take them back with me, how about ten pound for the lot"   Oh well, the radio and cassette works, so we had them.  We took them to Romania and before giving them away, Diana said "let's pray over them for God to do a miracle".   We prayed and God kept His promise to do a miracle and they all worked. And now for the next  testimony of Holy Ghost Ministry.   It was July 2003, trip No; 21. I've just got through the Hungarian border at Hegyshalom, one last river to cross and I'm in Romania.   Well, a border rather than a river.  The customs officer asks me for a vehicle document which I didn't have with me.  I apologised and mentioned that I had been in and out of Romania about 40 times and no-one has ever asked to see this..... The document is back at home in the U.K.   He said then you'll have to go back to the U.K. and get it.  I realised it was now time again for the Canaanite womans' prayer to be applied;  Lord help me!   (Matthew 15:25)   I've got this in writing so it's a valid one. The customs officer was not going to let me through, and I was just about to say that my wife is here and her visa expires soon, I don't have the time to go back to the U.K. for the papers, nor the money to do so, and then come to Romania again.  But praise God, I didn't need to say anything. The God of heaven and earth has heard my cry. "Call on Me,  and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things" - says He. At that moment, the customs officer changed his mind, and said to me; If anyone asks you for it, tell them that you had it at the border, but you must have lost or mislaid it. What is it that makes a government official change his mind so quickly?  How can this be possible?   Friends, the government IS upon HIS shoulder.    Even at the borders.  This next testimony is about Ciprian..(pronounced Chip-ree-an, or Sip-ree-an).  It is also a witness to the Holy Ghost power activated in "signs and wonders"
Ciprian had asked the Lord to show him His power in a very simple short prayer.   For me, it was only eight words;  "What would you have me to do Lord"
For Ciprian, it was  "Lord, show me Your Power"   Ciprian was given a vision of a living room.  From the description he knew it could not be in Romania, so he continued to seek the Lord to direct him to where he would find this vision.   In the room was a slim lady and a small boy with fair hair.  The living room had panelled walnut boards on one wall, and the rest was well decorated, brightly lit, there was also a large window sliding door and a garden with vegetables.  Ciprian knew he had to reach this living room then God would show him other things connected with the vision.   He shared all that God gave him with his wife Gabby and said goodbye.  Shortly after leaving his home he got a lift in a truck and was soon through the border on his way to an unknown destination.
This was in 1995.   He eventually reached Dunkirk and was aware of crossing on a ferry.  He somehow managed to get through the customs and vehicle checkpoints at Dover. That was a miracle if ever there was one, and headed for London.   There he found his way to Paddington Station and got on the nearest train just seconds before it pulled away.  Ciprian had no idea where the train was destined for or what direction it was heading, but little did he know, it was right on track for West Wales.    By the time the train had reached Port Talbot, a ticket inspector was doing the rounds for tickets......something  Ciprian of course did not have.  He was taken off the train and left with the railway police, and then taken to Swansea YMCA.    And this is what happens..................................................
Ciprian gets on T.V.  Diana sees the report on the 6.00 p.m news and thinks Ciprian is in the Cardiff YMCA. She tells me with excitement there's a young Romanian man down at the YMCA, let's go and see him.   But it was the wrong one, he was staying in Swansea.   Now, the only two people that we know living in Swansea is Richard and Christine Downes .... make a note of that.  Meanwhile, Ciprian seeks the Lord to direct him to a nearby church - not too far away please Lord - and then goes out for a walk.  He soon finds - not too far away - Mount Pleasant Church.  This must be the one to go to on Sunday, thank you Lord.   Sunday comes and Ciprian makes his way to Mount - not too far away - and the first two people he meets with at the door are (have you guessed)  Richard and Christine Downes..... What a welcome and what a miracle.   Richard invites Ciprian to come back to their home for lunch and to share what God has done.  Richard and Christine were stewards of "Mssion Aid East" and we had worked together over the last two years by taking aid to Croatia and Serbia. Richard explains to Ciprian that there's a couple who live in Cardiff and it would be nice to visit.  Richard did mention that we'd been to Romania several times so that was an incentive for Ciprian to accept the invitation.  They had listened carefully to the vision of the living room, the slim lady and the small boy with fair hair. Richard and Christine were inclined to believe this was our home, and the lady has to be Di, the small lad our grandson.  But they made no mention of this to Ciprian.  Let it be the revelation of God for Ciprian.   The day came when Ciprian was sat in our living room, Diana was there with David our grandson complete with fair hair.  Everything was exactly as the Lord showed it to Ciprian back in Romania... and Ciprian says to Diana.  "You are the lady of my dream"   Aw, bless his heart, he knew what he meant but Diana was a little embarrassed and made it quite clear to him that she was in fact already accounted for.. and a married woman.   What an answer to prayer.  Just five words from Ciprian;   "Lord, show me Your Power"                                                    This was the result. P.T.L.      For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works  which GOD has before ordained that we should walk in them.  (Ephesians 2: 10)........ "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord"  (Isaiah 55: 8)...... Call unto Me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty  things which thou knowest not.  (Jeremiah 33: 3).                                                          This is the living word of the living God...         A Technics digital piano is donated to give to a church in Gilau, Romania.  One slight problem said the owner,  "umm, there's a loud humming noise which comes from the amplifier, so it's not really helpful in worship".  I accepted the instrument with thanks and as soon as I got it home prayed over it, couldn't wait to plug it in, and when I did, the hum had gone completely!
Just one of many,  miracles from the Living God.......
Gipsy family Sintana, Romania. Diana met this lady in Sintana, she had 9 children all in need of shoes and clothing.. It's not good to give false hopes to desperate families, but at least this family trusts in God, and understands when Diana says I'll be back  -  God willing.    We had been home a few months and had prayed regularly for this and other families that all their needs would somehow be met even if it was through other people.   One morning we were praying and Diana just felt the burden again for this family in Sintana, when there was a loud knock at the front door.  It was the postman, and a letter sent from Romania, recorded delivery.  The letter was from the lady in Sintana. Diana had just prayed for them asking the Lord how she could possibly know what sizes of clothes and shoes the family needed.   In with the letter were copies of birth certificates for all the children which of course revealed their ages....  "Signs and Wonders" Amen. In the blue shirt on the left is 85 year old John from Marasesti St;  Arad, Romania.  When we met him a few months earlier, he was in so much pain, confined to his bed, and unable to get around the house let alone go out anywhere.  In fact, John had given up all hope of help.   We promised to pray with him, and for him till God answers.   In the background of the picture we notice a pair of walking aids and a wheelchair ...... just delivered.   You've heard it said  "every picture tells a story"    Now hear the story of the picture.   We take you back to June 2005.  Two days after returning from this trip, I telephoned Rookwood hospital in Cardiff and asked if they could spare a wheelchair to take to Romania..... The answer was a definate no.  I was a little sad at the sharp response, but,  no was the answer anyway.  The Lord reminded me of a mobility centre in Cwmbran,  I'd found the telephone number, and put it on my keyboard to remind me to ring them the next day.  The next day arrived and Diana and I went to Newport to collect a donation of 80 litres of paint and more 100 ceramic floor tiles.   Praise the Lord.    When we arrived home, I picked up the phone to ring the mobility centre in Cwmbran.   There was a message left, so before making my call to the mobility centre, I decided to listen to the message first.   This was the message folks:-   "Hello, this is Keith from the Mobility Centre in Cwnbran, we have a wheelchair here for you to take to Romania, please let us know when you can pick it up, thank you, goodbye"    And this is how Almighty God heard and answered those few simple basic prayer requests.

TO GOD BE THE GLORY GREAT THINGS HE HAS DONE.                                                                                                                                                              It's almost Christmas 2002.  Bob Gardner (an old friend) rings us from Dumbraveni and asks if we'll be there for the festive season. He tells us the weather's dry, no snow, temperature is down to minus 12, but warns that it does get cold in the night, possibly minus 23,  bring plenty of warm clothing.   At the Romanian border I managed to draw enough cash to buy fuel to get to Sighisoara.   We were somewhere near Paulis where a village policeman stops me and demands to see my tachograph.   I explained that my vehicle is not used for commercial freight  -  it's a private mobile home  -  so I don't need a tachograph...in fact it's been disfunctioned.   The policeman insisted it is the law in Romania.  I challenged the policeman knowing there's corruption going on by saying that no-one has ever asked to see my tachograph even at the borders.   The policeman said he must punish me.  I thought the worse thing would be to place me under arrest, Diana is now at an important prayer meeting sat next to me.   But the policeman says he will fine me 600,000 lei.   I says I've only got 500.000 lei which I must keep for fuel or we'll be stranded...it was worth about £20.00  The policeman says; ok, then give it to me.  I did, and asked for a receipt but he refused.  I knew something was wrong as all he wanted was some Christmas bonus.  My  "fast prayer" is often 3 little words  "Lord help me"   Then without any effort, I began to speak in the Romanian tongue and the policeman looked up into the sky  -  I wonder why:    He then put his hand in his pocket and gave me back all the money I'd just given him, his attitude change as he bid us farewell and a warning to take extra care. Friends, it was the Holy Spirit which placed the policeman under arrest.... He was the one now under conviction and found guilty.  I gave him a tract in Romanian and before driving away wished him  "Cratiun Fericit"  Happy Christmas.     For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing assunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.                                                            (Hebrews 4: 12). A lady asks me what are the needs in Romania and I began to tell her about their need for God.   Yes yes, I know that she says, what about practical needs.  I said almost anything and everything..why?   Her mum was having a new washing machine and getting rid of her old one which was still in very good condition.   I accepted this and trusted that the Lord would show me who to give it to.  This washing  machine was stored in our outhouse for about two months, then when we were ready to go to Romania again, we took it along not really knowing who it would be for.   Washing machines are not the sort of thing people want as there are many far greater needs.  However, we arrive at Dr Iulia Nicoaras home in Saliste and rested a few days.  As we are unloading, I called out and said where shall I put this washine machine?   Julia says in the shed will be ok.   Before we could finish unloading, Julia calls to Ciprian her husband and shouts "masina de spalata este nu bun - ajutor terog"    Ciprin comes to check the problem and finds that the motor on their  washine machine has just burnt out.   It's very old he says but now it's "caput".  What perfect timing that a replacement washing machine should become available minutes after their old one packing in.  Jehovah Jireh. He will provide.....  "Thank you Lord" was the grateful response. We are talking about  "Signs and Wonders" from El Shaddai. If you don't know Jesus as your Saviour, please click "There Is Hope" The music plaing is  "Lord I Lift Your Name On High" PRAYER REQUESTS AND THANKSGIVING Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God............... (Philippians 4: 6). PRAYER PETITION Our contacts in Romania who provide hospitality, accommodation and fellowship are:- Ciprian Galea and family........John Ardeu and family........Ghita and Ramona Pana.....  Tim and Jenny Gooding... Nicu Gheresim Benome and family...Mihaela Mia and family. Dr Julia Nicoara and Ciprian.... David McGuire... Bob Gardner and Felicia... Ligia Luca, John, Christian and Timothy.  Praying that God would continue to meet their needs with health, strength, work, finances and a closer walk with God, giving them a burden for the lost souls around them, many are still living in sewers and on rubbish tips.  Praying protection over their lives as they seek to minister by an example of lifestyle despite the poverty and hardships.                                                                             23:02:2008. THANKSGIVING For the continued provision of aid in abundance.  We have had to turn donations away, although we've been accepting items to pass on to other aid agencies, we no longer have the space to keep large quantities.  We are always mindful that all that has been achieved so far, started with one short prayer consisting of 8 words.  We have much to thank the Lord for.  Please read the testimonies of how God has undertaken during the past 16 years.  Here you will find much to give thanks for, and this will encourage your own faith and bring Glory to El Shaddai. -  Jehovah Jireh.  He is faithful.  His promise is our provision.  He is worthy of praise and thanksgiving.                             23:02:2008. There will be another short prayer up-date next month as we prepare and wait to travel on in His perfect timing.  We believe God will make every provision according to His word. "Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us......................... Ephesians 3: 20. "Your prayers and gifts to the poor have come as a memorial offering before God....          Acts 10: 4. Give thanks for those who God has sent to meet the needs of the poor, the orphans, the Fatherless, the widows in their afflictions. For those that survived   the extremely harsh winter that they will be given fresh hopes and a fresh vision. As it is written; For without a vision the people perish, and, the joy of the Lord will be their strength. When you're praying for Romania, here's some points to be mindful of in terms of typical family life during the winter months of November - March.  Based on personal experience the tempertatures will drop to -30.  During the middle of February, tempetatures in some places are -18.  Even the sea at Constanta has frozen where during the summer, it was + 45 degrees.  Through the summer of 2007 people died because of the heat.   Just three months later during the winter of 2007 people died because of the cold.    If you went out  for 5 minutes to go to the shops, your skin would look like raw beef by the time you came back.   It is not unusual for pensioners to queue at the Mayors office throughout the night in temperatures between 0 and -15 for their Christmas "bonus gifts" of:-  one bottle of oil, plus one small chicken.  One bag of sugar and one bag of flour.  This treat is only for the pensioners.    More than 55% of people living in Romania have no piped water, including some homes in the cities.    An average of 12% of all people in Romania have no identity Mainly because when they were children they were abandoned by the parents.  Orphans are not always orphans in the true sense of having no parents, they're unwanted, they're abandoned, they're left to fend for themselves.  Many children had been taken to a clinic or hospital for some medical treatment, and had been infected with HIV from unsterilised needles, used many times before being discarded, and as a result , the parents become  difficult to find and provide a birth certificate for the child.  At 18 years of age, they're put out onto the streets.   It's impossible to find work with no identification, and officially, they don't even exist.  No-one wants to go near them because they are HIV.  They are modern day lepers.  These human beings can be seen scavenging at the rubbish tips for food or any discarded items which might bring them in some cash, even a bag full of scrap metal. In the village of Vanatori near Sighisoara, a young boy froze to death during the day as he cuddled into the warmth of his mum, even though he was wrapped up in a blanket.. There is a law in Romania which allows for wood to be collected from open spaces.  But the law has placed a limit, that only pieces of stick not more that 3 cm in diameter can be freely picked up and used.   Imagine how many twigs would be required to keep warm and provide for cooking!   The collection of sticks is a job given to all senior members of the family such as pensioners.  They would need to be out all day, every day, with a big sack or hand cart.. If one is caught picking up twigs lany larger than 3 cm in diameter, they would receive a fine the equivelant of £300.  Anyone who has to resort to collecting twigs has to be poor to say the least.  How does a poor pensioner pay the fine?  It's deducted from his monthly pension.                        PLEASE SUPPORT US IN PRAYERS TO CONTINUE THE WORK AND LABOUR OF LOVE IN As for me, far be it that I should sin against my Lord by failing to pray for you..... 1 Samuel 12: 23.   We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak.   Romans 15: 1. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with THANKSGIVING, present your request to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.................................................... Philippians 4:  6 - 7. And my God will meet all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus.
