Daddy

Just give my Dad a fishing pole,

and he would find that perfect fishing hole.

You know we will always keep your smile

"In a special file".

We must all stick together and

Never,ever brush it off with even a feather.

Our father had everything in life,

Five bratty kids and a beautiful wife.

Even had a funky old bike.

He had lots of love to give.

The only thing he didn't have was a

Long chance to live..........

Dad, I don't know where to begin,

So let me try this again.

You were never ashamed of us,

No matter what we did.......

To us you would always try to talk,

But, sometimes we would mock.

Dad, you always tried to teach us right from wrong,

Sometimes you sang the same old song.

Dad, you've been our friend.

We could depend on you no matter

What was happening..........

Daddy, did we ever tell you,

HOW MUCH WE LOVED YOU???

Today the sky is blue and we really,

Really MISS YOU.....

We keep saying this is not true,

We will be lost without you.

We keep asking ourselves WHY????

But, all we do is cry.

You know we were not through with you,

There was still so much to do.

Daddy,you know WE LOVE YOU,

And this is TRUE...

It's not fair to tear our HEARTS in two.

For those who loved you through and through,

WE LOVE YOU,DADDY and MAY GOD BLESS YOU.
