It is about 200 miles North of Dallas (on I-35).

Current weather/forecast (in Oklahoma City)

Courtesy of Michael Briggs...

I just drove down there to check it out. The track is on 48th St.
Here are the directions from Norman:

  • The Ramada Inn is right off I-35, at the corner of Lindsey and SW 24th.
  • Take 24th south one-half mile to State Hwy 9, then Hwy 9 east approx. three miles to US 77.
  • Take 77 south six miles, through downtown Noble, to SE 48th.
There is no street sign there, so watch carefully for the small green sign that says "Raceway",
or better yet, look for the big white Allen's Floors bldg on the left.

  • Turn right (which is actually south at this point) on 48th.
  • The track is one mile south, on the right. You can't miss it, since 48th effectively dead ends there.

Mike on the all important topic of food...

    >Mapquest only shows 3 restaurants in Noble: Poor Boy, Dumpling house, and Subway.
Do you know of any others? (particularly fast food)

Sonic, Pizza Hut, and Taco Mayo are all right on 77, along with the ones you named.
(Dumpling House is now China Express.) All of these are about four miles from the track.
I can heartily recommend two locally-owned establishments: Brent's Smokehouse BBQ, and
Kendall's - home of the biggest chicken fried steak you've ever seen.
Might slow you down on the track though...

    On the local speed trap...

    >> For one thing, I can warn everyone to be careful driving Highway 77 between Norman and Noble.
    >> Both cities like to station patrol cars along that stretch.
    >> I just paid a $77 ticket for doing 61 in a 50 :-(

    >
    >If you don't mind, I'll put the above paragraph up on the web page.

Be my guest. That stretch is four lanes with a center turn lane and wide shoulders, but the top speed limit is 55.
South of Noble, 77 turns into a narrow two lane with ditches on both sides, yet the limit is 65.
    Yeah, that makes sense...
