About the artist...
Savannah-born artist Max Movsovitz took his first art lessons at the age of five in a mansion two doors east of the Mercer House on Savannah's historic Monterey Square. After graduating from Emory University with a degree in art history, he worked for several years in Georgia in the field of Historic Preservation, researching, photographing and illustrating historic districts and sites. Since moving out of state, he has worked as an artist full time.
In addition to his Savannah-inspired gifts/artwork, Max has created miniature replicas of buildings from other cities as well. To see samples of his work based on other cities, click here.
