Sunday Buzz

THE BOOK, THE MOVIE, THE WEB SITE:  So you've already scored a tin of "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" powdered lemon cookies and bought the "Go Ahead, Make My Movie" T-shirt, but director Clint Eastwood's runaway best seller doesn't open for two months. What to do? You could while away the hours with Savannah native Max Movsovitz's new Web site (at http://www.welovemidnight.com). Movsovitz, a Kansas-based artist, says he took his first art lesson at age 5 in a mansion two doors east of the infamous Mercer House. "It started out with me just looking up a few 'Midnight' articles on the Net," he says. "Next thing I knew, I had found about 30 and figured maybe other folks would like to be able to easily find these." The painstakingly detailed, "unofficial" fan site boasts reams of press on the book and the movie and a photo-laden guided tour of everybody's fave crime scene city. Our personal favorite on the site: Movsovitz's own aunt, lifelong resident Mitzie Movsovitz, posts a weekly column, "Aunt Mitzie's Savannah."
