Fatal car accident in city last night

Miami police investigated an car accident last night at Collins Avenue.

According to Miami officers, as a result of a car accident with 3 cars on Collins Avenue, one driver died, another was injured that did not threaten life, and the third was lungs.

Two of the drivers were taken to hospitals for treatment. Hyundai Elantra's female driver, 31-year-old Munira Qureshi from Amherst, Mass., Was taken to Rockville Hospital and was pronounced dead.

The male driver of the Chevy sedan, driven by 61-year-old Randall Berube from Ellington, was taken to Hartford Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

49-year-old Kevin Zorda from Anfield was also involved in the accident and drove a Subaru sedan. He received minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation and no charges have been filed at this time.
