Agns fra Frankrig skriver om "sit" landshold:

The French team prepares for the Olympics

Here are some words about the French team's preparation for the Olympics. In fact, in the 3 last months, the girls all met about 60 days to work hard for the competition.

They especially had a training period in Corsica, where they had a very hard walk during 5 days. According to Krumbholtz, this kind of experience creates deep links between the players, links which are essential for a team. They also played several friendly matches against Norway, Austria, Sweden,... And even if the results weren't so good, the trainer is confident. He said that before the World Championships, they also had bad results, and they nevertheless reached the final. He just wants for his team "to be in on it" for the Olympics.

Of course, he relies a lot on the team's defense (as in Norway), but he also tried to solve the attack's weakness by including more combinations and developing the game's rapidity. He is perfectly aware of the fact that the team is now well-known by the others and that's why he wanted their way of playing to evolve.

Obviously, their purpose is to confirm the World Vice-Champion title: for that, they will have to win at least the bronze medal. If they won't, it will be a real failure and really disappointing.

But the "French handball world" really believes in the team's capacity to reach its aim.
