The regular cd version of Leon Russell contains 2 bonus tracks. The Gold edition has 6 bonus tracks and the DVD-Audio disc has 4 bonus tracks.

Masters of War is appended to the end of the original track list on the regular and DVD-Audio editions.  On the Gold disc it returns to it's original position on the track list, after Prince of Peace .  Masters of War/Old Masters only appeared on early copies of the Leon Russell vinyl album. Masters of War consists of Leon singing Dylan's lyric to the tune of The Star-Spangled Banner.

The original title for this album was to have been, Can a Blue Man Sing the Whites.
