SCOTTIE PIPPENMy favorite and one of the best professional basketball players in the NBA: He played for the Sixth-Time '91-'93 & '96-'98 World Champions CHICAGO BULLS! As a small-forward, he was The Orquestrator of The Bulls' Triangle Offense and an excellent defensive player. He played for the '98-'99 Houston Rockets. He was traded to the Portland Blazers and now plays for The Blazers. He is Scottie "Pip" Pippen. What's NewCredit of Pictures: Sports Illustraded.
Past News from ScottieFebruary 2007, Pippen's trying to make a comeback at age 42, after 3 years of retirement. He'll try to fit in with a playoff contender team. Good Luck. On July 2003 when he became a free agent Pippen once again re-sign with the Chicago Bulls. He signed a two year contract for the 2003-2004 and 2004-2005 seasons and teach this young Bulls team; hopefully, he retires in a Bulls uniform and gets his number 33 retired. Indeed he's coming back! Pippen says this 2003 season is his last after lossing to Portland Trail Blazers. He assured this was
his last trip and would need "a transplant" to go back to Portland's Rose Garden. Scottie's ProfileJersey No: 33 Scottie's Career StatsSeasons 1987 through 2003: Credit of Source: NBA.com Stats Scottie's Great MomentPip was already great player by three-peating as World Champs as a Bull however,
I think he outshined every pro basketball player and came out of Jordan's shadow
when he was named the Most Valuable Player of the 1994 NBA All-Star Game, scoring 29
points, getting 11 rebounds, and 4 steals. Here's a Pippen interview (pdf file) by Lacy Banks, a Chicago Sun-Times reporter. QUICK LINKS
