Fusheng is addicted to human's blood and makes another attempt to drink it. This time, Miki cannot stop him in time from making another mistake. Tianyou and Xiaoling becomes involved in this matter of checking who is the real murderer and the latter forces Tianyou to find Fusheng to find out the truth. Just when Xiaoling wants to subdue Fusheng, Miki appears and brings Fusheng away. Tianyou follows.

Tianyou discovers that Miki is a vampire and is also Yamamoto Katsuo's daughter. He decides to go and look for Yamamoto Katsuo alone.

He finds out that Yamamoto Katsuo intends to turn this world into a Vampire World. He turns down the latter's invitation to help him when he remembers what Xiu tells him - she will still treat him as the same Guohua as long as he does not do anything against his conscience. Tianyou moves out of Jiajia Building and quits his job at the police station as he is afraid that Yamamoto Katsuo will harm his friends.

Zhenzhen is very sad when she discovers that Tianyou is missing all of a sudden. She decides to wait for Tianyou to come back and she cleans his house everyday.

Ken tells Yamamoto Katsuo that Wang Zhenzhen is Tianyou's girlfriend and Xiaoling's best friend, so the latter invites Zhenzhen and Jiajia to a ball held by his company. Guodong is afraid of their safety but he can do nothing about it. Later, Jiajia discovers that Guodong has lung cancer which explains why he always looks so dawn and haggard.

Another bloodless corpse is found in Jiajia Building. This time, it is Herman who does it. Xiaoling suspects that the culprit is Fusheng. Fusheng goes to find Xiaoling and asks her to subdue him. He also tells her that he did not kill the man found in Jiajia Building but he knows that he would kill someone else sooner or later. Tianyou arrives at this moment and asks Xiaoling to go ahead and do it but he is actually very upset about it. Xiaoling uses amulet to subdue Fusheng temporarily. Tianyou moves in to stay at Lingling-tang Company for the time being.

Xiaoling decides to go and fight with Herman to see how powerful he is. But he is easily defeated by Xiaoling. Tianyou quarrels with Xiaoling again as he does not want anything to happen to her because he knows how powerful the descendants of the Vampire Commander can be.

Miki pleads with Zhenzhen not to see Yamamoto Katsuo again. But Zhenzhen still accepts a lift home by Yamamoto Katsuo. Yamamoto Katsuo tells Zhenzhen that there is a time when he leaves all the work at home to his wife and his wife worked until she died. He also reveals to Zhenzhen that she is the splitting image of his wife and that Miki is afraid that he might take her for his wife and let history repeat itself. He asks Zhenzhen to stay by his side but the latter rejects as she still loves Tianyou and is waiting for him to come back.

Ken is afraid that something might happen to Zhenzhen, so he calls Tianyou to go to a church and tips him off. Tianyou does not know whether to believe Ken as he is neither a friend nor a foe of his. But later, Xiaoling confirms that what Ken says is true when Zhenzhen calls and tells Xiaoling about it.

Miaoshan decides to bring Tianyou and Xiaoling back to year 1938 to stop the Vampire Commander from biting Tianyou and Yamamoto Katsuo and end all the suffering. She does this at the risk of being punished by Heaven for revealing Heaven's secret.

Tianyou looks Yamamoto Katuso up at Tong Tian Court with Xiaoling. He wants Yamamoto Katsuo to let Zhenzhen off but the latter declines from doing so. Miaoshan appears just before Tianyou decides to fight with Yamamoto Katsuo and she tells them about her plan of bringing them back to 60 years ago. Tianyou agrees. Yamamoto Katsuo says that he needs time to think about it but will lend them Tong Tian Court to do it.

Miaoshan tells Xiaoling about the dangers of going 60 years back. The latter may become another victim of the Vampire Commander or may return back to present to deal with Yamamoto Katsuo if she does not succeed. Xiaoling decides to go despite of what Miaoshan says. Miaoshan reveals to Chiwo that she is sorry to see that Tianyou and Xiaoling will be hurt and by sending them 60 years back, they will lose their most valuable thing - memories.

Xiaoling buys presents for everyone (Jiajia, Zhengzhong, Jinjie, Shouzheng, Gao Bao and Zhenzhen) she knows. She visits her old school with Zhenzhen and memories of happy and carefree days appear in their mind. She goes to find Tianyou and finally see him somewhere. Tianyou suggests to her to be like ordinary people for a night (something that they know they will never have the chance to be) and both of them go to a lounge. They sing together, feeling very relaxed. Xiaoling tapes down all that happens in a view cam, including Tianyou fighting with thugs in the lounge. The conversation between Tianyou and Xiaoling after the trip to the lounge is below.

Xiaoling: They’re not behind us. Ha…….
Tianyou: We were pursued like dogs and you’re still laughing.
Xiaoling: You got into another fight.
Tianyou: It’s fated.
Xiaoling: I taped the fight. Fusheng will be tickled.
Tianyou: After tomorrow, Fusheng will never know what happened just now.
Xiaoling: I’ll save it for myself.
Tianyou: If we could change history tomorrow, Kuang Guohua would have died 60 years ago, and Kuang Tianyou wouldn’t exist in the present day. I wouldn’t have gone to the KTV lounge or fought with anyone. After tomorrow, all my friends won’t remember me. Even if we braved dangers together, laughed and cried together, they won’t remember a single thing about me because I don’t exist.
Xiaoling: After tomorrow, because he often argued with me and told me off, I said I don’t trust him. Before him, I pretended to be strong. But only he can make me cry. We can throw away our lives for each other. I won’t remember him. I won’t even know that he existed.
Tianyou: It may be a good thing to forget me.
Xiaoling: I don’t wish to forget! (Silence for a long while) What’s the time now?
Tianyou: Past midnight.
Xiaoling: You haven’t much time left in 1998. There’s still someone you wish to see. Bye.
(Xiaoling drives away in her car.)

Tianyou goes to see Zhenzhen after Xiaoling left.

Yamamoto Katsuo goes to find Miki and tells her about Miaoshan's plan. He has lunch with Zhenzhen and Miki and they are like a happy family. Miki reminds Yamamoto Katsuo that it is all an illusion and scolds him that he is afraid of loneliness and as a result, causes suffering to his love ones.

Xiaoling tells Zhengzhong about Miaoshan's plan and Zhengzhong wants to go along with them but Xiaoling forbids him to do so as she does not want Zhengzhong to come to any harm. Zhengzhong feels upset about it and visits Xiaoqing at the Waiting Bar and later, he meets Miki and goes with her to Tong Tian Court to help Miaoshan.

Miaoshan admits to Ken that she does not have the Mahavairocana Curse. She lies that she has it because she knows how the Mahavairocana Curse can destroy the world when it turns up when Tianyou and Yamamoto Katsuo are fighting.

Yamamoto Katsuo decides to go back to year 1938 to end Miki's suffering. Bijia is devasted when she hears about it as she does not want to goes back to her original life as she is a demon before she becomes a vampire.

Xiaoling reveals her feelings to Tianyou just before they enter Tong Tian Court. Zhenzhen sees all this and is hit down by a car when she runs away. She died in the hospital later on.

Yamamoto Katsuo arrives in his Japanese costume and announces that he wants to decide his own fate and not let anyone manipulate his fate - especially someone who lets his emotion gets the better of him. Tianyou, Xiaoling and Yamamoto Katsuo are guided to exactly 60 years back by magic strings. Miaoshan warns them that they are not allowed to change anyone else's fate except their own as it can cause disaster. She also tells them that if their strings break, they will be lost in the time dimension forever.

Xiaoling goes to find her great aunt while Yamamoto Katsuo and Tianyou go to see whether everything that happens is the same as before. Tianyou attempts to save Xiu when he sees that she is being chased by the Japanese. Yamamoto Katsuo stops him in time and reprimands him that he is to stick to the rules and not let his emotions get the better of him again.

Xiaoling is sucked into the dimension of time and Tianyou pulls her back. Below is the conversation between Xiaoling and Tianyou as Xiaoling is about to be sucked into the dimension of time.

Xiaoling: Tianyou, never mind about me! Go after the Vampire Commander!
Tianyou: If I let go, you’ll be lost in the space of time!

Meanwhile, Yamamoto Katsuo is pulled back by Bijia and Ma Danna is left alone to fight with the Vampire Commander. Tianyou ties his and Xiaoling's hands together and when Yamamoto Katsuo returns after giving Bijia the blow, he sees that Tianyou's and Xiaoling's hands are tied together and knows what has happened. They cannot stop history from repeating itself in time. Xiaoling asks Gao Bohui (Gao Bao's grandfather) to hand Gao Bao a cloth on which has instructions to talk to Wang Zhenzhen for 3 minutes.
