......how was Gettysburg?? How was the family??? Full report expected woman.

We had a nice fourth here... as the only Americans on the lake we had to set off fireworks... Dad and Brian got a shitload of roman candles and other stuff at the flea market yesterday... sheezus, I went down to the island while they were getting it all ready and it looked like an effin' munitions dump, lmaaaaao. But Becca loved it, and they sure looked pretty flying out and going off over the lake. And we got to annoy Mom and Dad's neighbors, who have annoyed us plenty this week. I'm too tired right now, but remind me to tell you about the Roger Whitaker marathon on Thursday.

...OK... just briefly, the neighbors had a party on Thursday night and I don't know what kind of limp gay party you have where you BLAST ROGER WHITTAKER but that's what they were doing... till 12:30, when Dad finally called down there... It was like that old SCTV skit, "NEW FROM RONCO! 547 RECORD SET! ROGER WHITTAKER SINGS EVERY SONG EVER WRITTEN!!"

Brian just told me it was "Gordon Lightfoot sings every song ever written." oh. Excuse me.

He's got Louis Armstrong on the computer from Philly... Ella and Louis singing "Summertime"... Becca went to bed after the fireworks at 9:45 (we've been stretching her bedtimes up here)... Mom and Dad are reading, Brian's writing...

I got a nice email from Tony... he and Rita went to the game in Philly... the Orioles looked "brutal" (his word) but he loved the park... and he said that he and Rita had a nice talk about their relationship... how they feel like they have felt funny about what everyone else thought they should be doing, etc, and how now they want to just follow their hearts.

I think you and brian both warned me to back off... I'm glad I did.

I'm gonna go snuggle with Brian, Christy... I hope you guys had a good fourth... let me know how it went... xoxoxoxo me

.
