Ahhhhhh, it's quiet and cool here... nice to have the place to myself for a little bit.... I got up about a half an hour ago and Brian was already up... he's out SOMEWHERE with Becca... probably just took her for a walk...all I can hear is the LOUD WHIRRING OF THE CICADAS LIKE INVADERS FROM OUTER SPACE. It is LOUD christy but not as loud as it was even a week ago; Brian says they'll be gone soon... for another seventeen years. Wow. That means when they come back Beccers will be 20... Tony will be 40... and I'll be... 39, lmao.
One of the secretaries (Joy) at the school calls them "Lakadas." It drives my bud Tina nuts... "They're CICADAS. CICADAS!" I just try to confuse Joy more. "You mean pinatas? How about those la stradas?" lmaaaaaao.
Anyway... I'm glad we talked last night and glad to hear your pregrancy is going well... the cool weather helps doesn't it??? Again: yes you're welcome to come up to Canada next month... mom always has a room for you, you know that... but again I ask the question: at that point you'll be eight months pregrant. Do you think you'll be OK sitting in the car for that seven hour drive?? I recommend frequent pee stops.
I hear little girl laughing outside down the road... they're on their way back. Could barely hear her over the lakatas.
Tony called after we got off the phone last night... he has tickets for the afternoon Orioles game today... I was, like, THANKS FOR GETTING ME ONE, SONNY BOY. He said a teacher at his school had a pair she couldn't use... I said "She had a pair she couldn't use, huh?" lmaaaao. Tony gets all flustered when Mom gets lewd. Anyway I'm not sure what he's doing with the other ticket but it should be a nice cool afternoon for a ballgame down there today. I'll watch on TV and see if they show him. He stands out in a crowd, you know.
So now I'm gonna get offline and go outside and see what my daughter and my hubster are doing, then get us some breakfast. Looks like it's gonna be a nice day. Talk to ya woman! xoxoxox me
