Here is all the compiled games I have for the DEC PDP11 computers running
RT11.
I have zipped them using PKZIP version 2.04g. This was necessary due to the
limited disk space here. To use them:
- First get them to a IBM PC and unzip the files using PKUNZIP version 2.xx.
- Next get them to your PDP. If you have RX50s use either John Wilson's PUTR
(excellent program) or RT11.zip.
- If you have kermit, just use it. Be sure to set file type as binary.
- If you have RX33s, you can use either PUTR or copy them straight to a
1.2 meg floppy from PC/AT and them on the PDP or use the create command to
create the file pointers.... Not easy.
FILES
- Adventure Cave, The original adventure game.
- Blackjack, It seems only to run on a
system with a coprocessor.
- Droids, A maddening little run away game. Its several files
in a logical disk. Hence you either need to use Putr to extract the files or run LD.SYS
on your PDP.
- Dungeon, Another early adventure game.
Foundation of Infocom?
- Dungeon, Dungeon Docs - Thanks Pat
- Pacman, you need a VT terminal. It does not run properly
on a PRO350.
- Plane, a landing simulator. It seems only to run on a
system with a coprocessor.
- Space Invaders, Self explanatory. Runs slow on a
PRO350.
- Super Star
Trek, This is on John Wilson's Site in RT11 format.
- Super Star
Trek Documentation, Plain ASCII File
- Star Trek, It works

- Proaccms.zip, a MS-DOS version of Password Code Generator for VENIX on a DEC PRO-350.
compiled by Stephen R. Griswold. NOTE: ftp.update.uu.se has the VENIX files.
- Putr Utility by John Wilson. Get this to write and
format RX50s, RX33s etc.
As always, I am looking for public domain software for the PDP11
Also any interesting cheap Q-Bus cards (RDQZ1, DRV11....)
