Onbar does not know/care what media the archives are going to or being restored from. Onbar mearly gives that data to the storages manager and the storage manager gives onbar a unique identifier associated with that backup. The storage manager is responsible for putting it on the . When OnBar wants to get the data back (restore) it just passes the storage manager that unique identifier and onbar is responsible for finding the backup.
