VISHALGAD

This is a giant fort with many monuments inside. The fort is away from the main range and is joined by a small saddle. The samadhi of Baji Prabhu is here.

Getting here:-

	From BOMBAY proceed to KOLHAPUR by Bus.
	Take a bus on the RATNAGIRI road ( via MALKAPUR) to AMBE (62 Kms). Catch another bus to GAJAPUR and on to the base of VISHALGAD (4 Kms)
	Proceed to a huge plateau called GHOD UDDANACHA MAL which witnessed the fight. The gorge is a little off this plateau. Ahead are DHANGARWADI and PANDREPANI where buses ply between MALKAPUR to PANDREPANI (15 Kms) and ANUSKURA GHAT (15 Kms)
