Former Marconi hero Brendan Renaud scored against his old club tonight, as Parramatta Power recorded their first win of the season.
The Parramatta player added to Marconi's woes in the 27th minute, giving the club a slight lead before the half-time break. Marconi striker Tony Perenich could have equalised in the 30th minute of the match, but was denied the chance by Nick Orlic.
Kosta Salapasidis then sealed the match for the Power in the 57th minute, slotting home an easy opportunity. The home loss now leaves Marconi without a point since the season opener.
Next week Marconi face Brisbane Strikers, who are currently placed second-bottom of the NSL ladder.
