A
double from Alex Brosque was not enough to secure a
win for Marconi, as the Stallions shared the
points with the Wollongong Wolves last night.
Brosque gave the Stallions an early lead in the match,
slotting home from close range in the eighth minute.
However shortly before the break the Wolves equalised,
with younster Naum Sekulovski smashing a 30 yard
drive into the Stallions net, after a fumble
by 'keeper Michael
Turnbull.
Brosque then grabbed a point for the Fairfield team, after good attacking play by the Stallions.
A good start to the season by the two teams, both will be eager to gain full points in their next few matches.
