Blackwargreymon's Social Problems

We all know the story. Blackwargreymon created for evil, made from 100 control spires, disobeys Arukenimon, wanders in search for his heart, needs a purpose, yadda, yadda, yadda....
But how DID he have a heart?
We never really got a conclusion. He decided to be good, and that was that. Uh--oh, here we go, some long ranting theory. You got it.

Yes, Blackwargreymon did have a heart. Ken's. Don't look at me like that!!! Okay, Blackwargreymon came from control spires. Ken built the control spires. Although claiming to be perfect, Ken suffered deeply during his Digimon Emperor reign. Tough on the outside, but guilty and lonely on the inside, with his true kindness hidden. Observe above as he solumly refelects on his life in "The Emperor's New Home." Somehow, Ken's depression slipped into the control spires, and since Blackwargreymon was made from so many, he inherited it.
Need a liiittle more convincing? Remember these scenes?

"Human Babies?" -- Ken just can't destroy the in-training Digimon. Deeply-rooted kindness.

"The flower..." -- Blackwargreymon just can't see the flower destroyed. Deeply-rooted kindness.

Ken and Blackwaygreymon desperatly search for their hearts. Watch "Genesis of Evil" and compare to "If I Only Had a Heart." The dialogue's very similar.

They both entered the story, unquestionably evil, but then it was revealed that there was more to them than it seemed. They struggled with being hated and had a hard time fitting in before they finished as good characters who would sacrfice anything to right their wrongs. Blackwargreymon just started suffering for no reason... it had to come from somwehere! An evil Digimon with a kind soul.
