Michelle found Mick�s face only inches away from hers. �I wish I could believe you. I really wish I could.� He smiled.

She refused to let her fear get the best of her. She blinked her eyes, forced herself to calm down, and breathed in deeply. �Mick,� she whispered seductively. �I�m not the enemy. Do you really think that you�ll get what you want by killing me?� Despite the gun posed at her head, Michelle came so close to Mick�s face that her lips brushed his. �You�you excite me, Mick, and I�m tired of my life. I�m tired of being the good girl and doing the right thing. Take me away�� She touched his lips slightly with her tongue and she could feel the pressure of the gun on her temple slacken.

Pretend that this is Danny, Michelle thought. Do this to get Mick out of our lives for good. She closed her eyes and moved in to kiss him passionately. Mick could barely resist, being aroused by Michelle�s touch. Michelle�s fingers reached up to caress his neck and his hair. She could hear him moan slightly with pleasure.

Finally, she felt him pull her closer to his body by putting his gun on a nearby ledge. �You�you�re incredible�� she whispered, as he kissed her neck. She opened her eyes slightly and she could see Selena in the window behind Mick, with a horrified expression. To reassure her, Michelle lifted her hand slightly to give her an okay sign, but this did not really help to dispel Selena�s uneasiness. Selena then walked away from the window, desperate to find help.

�Mick, what are we going to do? How are you going to get us out of here?� Michelle managed to ask Mick. He only continued to kiss her.

Finally, he responded with a smile. �Same way I got here. We climb onto the roof. But first�� He kissed her again, then slipped Michelle�s arms behind her and swiftly handcuffed her.

�Oh�� Michelle desperately tried to hide her shock and surprise. �Uh�Mick, I didn�t know you were into S&M�but right here? Right now?�

�Just shut up.� He leaned in to whisper in her face. �You are delicious�but I�ll never forget what you did to me. An eye for an eye, beautiful. A death for a death��

Michelle was speechless. It was exactly what Mick had said in her dream. �But-but you�re not dead��

�Yeah, but all you�you, Drew, Jesse, Bill�even my little brother were glad to see me gone��

�That�s not true�Danny did everything he could to find your killer��

�Oh, sure he did. And then he married you! But I�m sure that he was glad I was out of the way. I was a liability to him�a �liability to the family� as Mama told me over and over again when she wouldn�t let me have my way. But I�m going to have it all now�and there�s nothing that you or Danny can do to stop me��

�So�what are you going to do now? You going to kill me�do you really think that you�ll ever have money and power by shooting me down?�

�I�m not going to kill you�not yet.� He smiled as he took the gun from the ledge. �You�re just the bait for my biggest prize.� He walked toward the balcony door and dragged Michelle with him.

�No�� Michelle didn�t want Selena to caught in Mick�s line of fire�

�What�s the matter, beautiful? Hiding someone inside?� He opened the door and there was no one inside the apartment.

Suddenly, Danny walked in with a gun in his hand and closed the door behind him. His eyes were full of worry that turned into fear when he looked up and saw Michelle in Mick�s grasp.

�Just in time, little bro. Just in�� Mick took his gun and cocked it with the barrel poised at Michelle�s head. ��time.� Michelle looked at Danny, as if to say �I love you,� and then she closed her eyes, prepared to be shot�

�Don�t shoot, Mick. Look�� Danny slowly put his gun down on the floor. �Just let her go. I know what you want. You don�t really want to get back at her, you want to get back at me.�

Mick smiled as he uncocked his gun and put it in his pocket as he went over to Danny and picked up his gun. Both Michelle and Danny sighed with relief. As he got up, he looked into Danny�s face and laughed diabolically. �Mama was wrong to choose you�to love you more. Look who�s smart now!�

At that moment, the door swung open�
