If Michelle had thought she was nervous on her wedding day, it was nothing compared to the nerves that were shooting through her as she stepped into the hotel room where she would be spending her honeymoon.
While Danny tipped the bellboy, Michelle made her way onto the balcony overlooking the violently green waters of the sea.
A warm breeze ruffled her hair and she smiled despite her nervousness. Danny was right. Majorca was a beautiful place. Everything there was like something out of a fairy
tale: The old buildings, the seaside cliffs...all of it.
Michelle was so lost in her thoughts that she jumped when Danny came up behind her and laid his hands on her
shoulders. "Pretty isn't it?" he murmured in her ear. Michelle tried to ignore the little shiver of pleasure that went through her as his warm breath brushed her ear.
"It's beautiful." she replied and her voice came out huskier than she'd intended.
"I'm glad you decided you wanted to come." Danny said as he moved to lean against the railing in front of her.
"Well, you'd have looked pretty silly on a honeymoon by yourself." Michelle laughed nervously.
Danny took her hand and raised it to his lips, just brushing her knuckles.
"You know what I mean."
Something flashed in those dark eyes and Michelle felt her whole body flush.
Danny smiled that knowing smile of his and after kissing her cheek, walked back into the room. "So what do you want to do tonight?" he called over his shoulder.
Michelle sagged against the balcony door and muttered, "Something I can't do. Not tonight, not ever."
