Parts 14-15

Harley, Danny and I have arrived at the garageapartment. I am scared to death of facing Theresa again, but I can't let it showor Danny would put a stop to our trap. I know we have to do this to get rid ofTheresa once and for all, I just hope I can hold up and get her to confess againto Mick's murder. I will just have to concentrate on the reason I'm doing this,and remember that Danny will be in the next room. Just knowing that will give methe strength and courage I need. I'm just watching him know, he's going overevery detail with Harley for what must be the hundredth time, Harley is beinggreat with him, so understanding, reassuring him that every detail is set.Harley knows what it's like to be married to a man who always has to be incontrol, God, Phillip is the "King of Control", so Harley totallyunderstands how my Danny feels. I know he just wants this to be over and doesn'twant anything to go wrong, he is yet again, protecting me, but for once, I'mprotecting him too. I can't wait to see what a nice, normal "boring"life will be like with Danny. I smile to myself, boring and Danny will never gotogether, just being in the same room with Mr. Daniel Santos is more excitementthan I thought nice, sweet, simple Michelle Bauer would ever have. I stillmarvel in that fact that we found each other, and that he loves me with suchintensity and passion. My thoughts are interrupted by my husband's arms aroundmy waist and his voice whispering in my ear, "What are you grinning at,Mrs. Santos?"
"Oh, I was just thinking about thiswonderful, handsome, exciting man I know, who loves me with more passion andintensity than I thought was possible."
"Really, he sounds like Mr. Perfect,anyone I know?"
I turn to face Danny, the look in his eyesstill takes my breath away. "Hmmm, I'm not sure if you know him ornot."
Danny laughs, "Well, he sounds an awfullot like your adoring husband."
"Of course it's you silly, no other manholds my heart," I reply giving him a kiss. "Has Harley got everythingset up?"
"Yes, she's ready, are you sure you're upto this?"
"Danny, I can handle Theresa, especiallysince I know you will be in the next room. Now you better go hide, she'll behere any second."
"I know, just be careful OK, she can bedangerous, as we have seen in the past." Danny gives me one last kiss andgoes into the bedroom with Harley.
As if on cue, Theresa knocks on the door.
"Theresa, thank you for coming."
"Just exactly what is it you wantMichelle? I thought we finished our business yesterday."
"Well, Theresa that's what I want to talkabout. You made some very interesting revelations yesterday, what makes youthink I won't run to Danny and tell him the truth?"
"Truth, Michelle, you must think I'm verystupid."
"Well, now that you mention it....yes Ido. You know if I tell Danny about Mick, your life would be over."
"I think not Michelle, you see you have noproof. Yes, I told you the truth about Mick's death, I did kill him, but whowould believe you besides Danny, and Danny couldn't and wouldn't do anythingabout it. He's to spineless to dispose of me. Hell, he was supposed to get ridof you and he was so damn weak he married you instead because he fell in love,how disgusting. Of course I always knew Danny was weak, he was so easy for me tomanipulate, he actually thought I loved him and he had no clue that I wasscrewing Mick. Actually he deserves a sniveling little bitch like you, but Iwant what is mine, and that is the power I should have had a long time ago,power that only comes with the Santos name. I would have had it if Mick hadn'tturned stupid on me too, I really did hate cracking his skull with that rock, hewas sooo good in bed, I've never had better, I still miss him. God, I don't knowwhat it is about you, you must be some kind of lay."
Michelle's anger has reached the breakingpoint, it kills her hearing Theresa say those things about Danny, especiallyknowing he's hearing every single word of it, she explodes at Theresa, "Youdisgusting Bitch! Danny is more man than you will ever deserve. He is strong,brave and good. Yes he did fall in love with me and save my life in the process,but he saved me because he thought I killed Mick in self defense! Mick wasraping me, actually the two of you deserved each other, you were the ones whowere weak, you only thought power and strength came from the Santos name, yougot off on fear and manipulation. You have no idea what kind of man Danny is. Ifit is that last thing I do I will make sure you rot in Hell for everything thatyou have done to Danny."
"Are you trying to scare me Michelle? Itwon't work, I'm Theresa Sandoval Santos, I can have you and your precious Dannykilled in the blink of an eye, so don't even try to cross me. I think ourbusiness is finished, I never want to see or hear from you again," Theresaturns on her heal and walks out slamming the door behind her.
"Oh, Theresa, you are so wrong, you willbe seeing and hearing from me one last time. I've got you now you witch. Youwon't know what hit you."

Michelle sinks to the floor shaking, herconfrontation with Theresa having shaken her to the core. Danny and Harley comefrom their hiding place, both satisfied with what they captured on tape. Dannysees Michelle on the floor, tears running down her face, shaking uncontrollably,"God, Baby, Baby, what happened, what did she do to you? Danny joinsMichelle on the floor and wraps her in his arms smoothing her hair laying softkisses on her temple, "Michelle, honey, talk to me."
Michelle looks up and see the fear and worry inDanny's eyes, she snuggles closer in his loving, protective embrace,"Danny, it's OK, I'm fine, I guess confronting Theresa took more out of methan I thought it would. I was terrified of her, but I couldn't tell you thatbefore because I knew you would never let me go through with it," Michelleresponds offering Danny a soft smile.
Harley watches Danny and Michelle and is yetagain amazed at the love they share. They have a rare gift, something that mostpeople never find, for they each have truly found their other half, they makeeach other complete. She gathers up the evidence and slips out of the apartmentunnoticed, leaving them to heal the wounds that Theresa has created, and torelish their love.
After several minutes, Michelle pulls out oftheir embrace, looking for Harley, "Danny, where is Harley?"
"Hmmm, I don't know, I think I heard herslip out. I guess she knew we needed to be alone."
Michelle laughs softly, "I always knewHarley was a brilliant detective."
"And you my love are always right, ofcourse, you might want to put that statement in a jar and save it for later,because I won't tell you that very often," Danny says giving her a devilishgrin.
Michelle punches Danny in the arm, "Youbetter never forget it Mr., I am always right!"
"So, this is a great apartment, whyhaven't you ever brought me here?"
"Silly, this is were Selena used to livebefore she moved in with Buzz, it wasn't exactly vacant."
"Well, it's vacant now, how about we putit to use?"
"What ever did you have in mind,sir?"
"I can think of lots of things, but youMrs. Santos are grossly overdressed."
"If I'm overdressed then you must beto."
"My goodness, I do believe you areright," Danny says looking down at himself, while making the statement hequickly removes his clothes and leads Michelle to the bedroom, helping her toremove her clothes along the way.
Danny lifts Michelle into his arms, plantingsoft kisses all over her face. "I love you, love you, love you."
"Mmmmm, I love you to Danny, so, somuch."
Danny sees the tears hovering in Michelle'seyes as he lowers them to the bed, he knows their playful banter was Michelle'sway of trying to hide her pain, and he vows to erase that pain, with theirloving.
"Michelle, let me take away your pain, letme love you."
"Please Danny, please love me, like onlyyou can."
Danny's gentle kisses move down Michelle's neckto her shoulder, he kisses his way down her arm, to her hand taking each one ofher fingers in his mouth. He then moves to gently suckle her breast and with hishand he gently and loving strokes her making her grow wet with passion, when heis certain she's ready he gently enters her.
"Danny," his name a breathy sigh onMichelle's lips, "I love you so much, only you, always you, foreverDanny."
"My, Michelle, forever, Michelle."
They move together in the rhythm their bodiesknow so well, their passion building, they fall over the edge together, whenDanny looks in Michelle's eyes all he sees is her love and passion for him, thepain and fear Theresa inflicted on her is gone.
"So, Baby, I really like this apartment,do you think we can move out of your bedroom and move in here until we can getour house at Laurel Falls built?"
"Ohhhh, yes, Mr. Santos, I think that's afabulous idea. I just love the thought of having our own place instead of a roomin someone else's house. As soon as we finish with Theresa and Bernardo, I thinkwe should move in here. Do you have a plan, as to just how we are going tospring our little "surprise" on them?"
"Well, Michelle, we aren't going to springanything on the, I am going to spring it on them, you will be here safe, waitingfor me."
Michelle looks at Danny in shock.....
