"Time to go clean up Danny's mess," Ray thought with a laugh.

"They should be done by now, at least I hope so, Danny was always quick that way. At least that's what I always heard."

Ray made his way through the woods of Laurel Falls, quickly approaching the spot where he had remarried Danny and Michelle earlier that day. It was quickly becoming nightfall and he had a lot of work to do.

He finally made it to the small glen. There, strewn all around, was the remnants of Danny and Michelle's "big" day. Laughing out loud, he set about fixing up their mess.

......

Elsewhere...

Drew sat silently at the bar in her nightclub. Jesse had just stormed out, after yet another HUGE fight. They seemed to be doing that a lot lately, over nothing.

"I need to get out of here" she thinks. She grabs her car keys and rushes out to her car. Hastily cranking her small Toyota, she tears out the parking lot, heading for God knows where. She's just driving, running away, as usual.

......

Back in the woods...

"Boy Danny," Ray says under his breath. "You sure were a busy boy weren't you?"

Ray surveys the bed that he had helped drag out here into the woods, for his dear cousin and his enchanting wife. "No tip," he mumbles as he clumsily begins to fold those, dare he say, way too pink, satin sheets.

"Danny boy, you are so lucky," Ray says aloud. "You finally have all you ever dreamed of, a wife who loves you, freedom from the family, peace...everything I used to want for myself."

"Still want for yourself you mean," he thinks silently.

Sighing deeply, he goes about collecting the champagne glasses and other trash lying about.

.......

"Where am I going?" Drew yells at herself. "And why? What am I doing?"

She pulls over to the side of the road to think. Up ahead she sees a sigh. "Laurel Falls Park...hmmm...maybe a walk will do me good."

She pulls back onto the road and heads there. After parking her car in the now deserted parking lot, except for one black car over in the corner, she heads over to one of the market trails.

......

"I can't believe this mess," Ray mumbles under his breath, sitting down on the partially striped bed. "Who would have thought those two could do this much damage."

Rising tiredly from the bed, he sets about finishing his job. Suddenly he hears a rustle of leaves from behind him. Jumping up, he softly, calmly calls out, "Who's there?"

"Just me," says Drew, almost shyly as she steps out from the dark woods.

"Well hello Drew," says Ray with a smile. "What brings you out here?"

"I'm not sure," she says with a shrug. "I just went for a drive and wound up here."

"Well welcome to Laurel Falls, please excuse the mess," Ray jokes.

"What happened here?" Drew asks, sitting down on the bed, surveying the small glen.

"Well I'm not supposed to say, but you are Michelle's best friend right? I'm surprised she didn't tell you herself. Danny and Michelle remarried today, right here. Isn't that great?"

"Wonderful," says Drew sullenly.

"Drew?" Ray says, coming over to sit next to her on the bed. "What's wrong? I thought you'd be happy for them!"

"Oh I am Ray, really I am," Drew says. "I guess I'm just feeling a little down right now."

"What happened?" Ray asks, quietly taking her hand and holding it in his rather large ones.

"Jesse happened," says Drew, as a tear slowly rolled down her cheek. "He stormed out on me today, after a huge fight." She proceed to tell him the long story of what had happened to her and Jesse's relationship.

Ray silently listened, thinking of how Jesse was such a fool to let this beautiful creature get away from him. He pulled her close as she started to cry.

"I'm so sorry Drew," he mutters into her hair. "I wish their was something I could do."

She looked up at him, heartbreak written all over her face.

"Me too Ray. Me too."

He looked down into her eyes, seeing the pain and silent wanting enfolded in their depths. Without even knowing what he was doing, he had leaned in and pressed his lips to hers.

Salty and warm, they were very willing and eager on his own.

Before he knew it, they were laying down on the bed, still kissing intensely.

Drew reached up and caressed his cheek softly, kissing his face all over. He moaned, pulling her closer to him, needing to feel her warm body close to his own. It had been so long...

"I can't believe we're doing this," Drew thought. "But it feels so good, so...right!"

"I can't help myself," Ray thought, rolling so that Drew was laying on top of him.

He pulled at the straps of Drew's top, breaking on of the straps in his haste to remove it from her body. He brought his mouth down to kiss her neck and shoulders, nipping at her ear as he moved. She gasped, as his hand covered her bare breast and moved slowly, building the passion inside of her.

She rapidly ripped open his shirt, needing to feel him against her. He moaned, as she dragged her nails down his skin.

Drew couldn't believe her eyes. Beneath the conservative clothes of the would be priest was a magnificent body. His chest was very defined, he'd apparently lifted weights or something at some point in his life. His arms were very strong, lifting her with ease to settle her beneath him.

"I can't believe how light she is," Ray thought, as he gazed down at her now half naked body. He moved to take her skirt off, loving the sight of her long legs stretched out beneath him.

"Ray?" Drew asked softly, pulling at his belt.

"Yes Drew." It's not a answering question, it's an answer to her question. He allows her to pull of his belt and then his black jeans.

He grins at her gasp of surprise, for he wasn't wearing anything underneath.

She slides her hands down his chest and sides, caressing the hard length of his body. Amazement in her eyes, she kisses his chest, savoring the moan that escapes his lips.

He moves to take her, slowly at first, but with increasing speed as passion overtakes them both, making each cry out as they finally peak together.

Silently, they lay there together, on the little bed in the middle of those dark woods, relishing just laying in each others arms.

Finally, quietly Drew asked, "Are you sorry Ray?"

Ray turns to look her in the eyes. "No Drew, I'm not. I've always been attracted to you, since the first day I met you. I think that the fact you showed up here tonight, was God's way of telling me something. I'm not sorry at all."

He pulled her close and kissed the tears from her cheeks.

"I will never be sorry."
