Love Leads The Way
Part Thirteen

"Michelle?" Danny called, hurrying after her. "Where are you going?"
"To the back bedroom," she called back to him.
He finally caught up with her, just in time to see her hurry over to the closet and duck her head inside.
Puzzled, he stood back, watching with amusement as she dug around in that closet, softly cursing under her breath. She tossed clothes and shoes all around the room, pushing everything aside, looking like quite a maniac.
"I know I put it here," she whispered, stepping back to survey the floor of the closet from a distance. "Now I remember!" she exclaimed, heading for the door. "You stay right here, okay? Don't move!"

He laid back on the bed, trying to make himself comfortable, but mainly thinking about his crazy wife and wondering what she's up to now.
He came up with dozens of theories during the long amount of time it took for his wife to reappear.
"She bought me something too. No...she's setting up something in another room. No she got me a cake. No! Maybe she...um...well...no...maybe she's..."
"Danny?!" Finally, the door opened slightly, and she stuck her head in.
"Are you ready?" she asked, looking in at him, expectantly.
"Ready for what?" he asked, grinning from ear to ear.
"For this," she said, opening the door wide.
Danny gasped at what he saw.
