Eric and Greta walked inside their hotel room, with a few bags of chips and some water. Eric came inside the room laughing at some joke Greta had made in the corridor about the man at the front desk. Greta quickly let herself fall on the huge bed with a sigh. She obviously was exhausted and so were all the others. The rain had now stopped outside and Eric opened the window. He came and sat beside Greta on the bed and teased her with a bag of chips.
She sat up, laughing and he opened it before handing it to her.
"I was starting to be VERY hungry..." she said as he stuffed his mouth with barbecue chips.
They stayed silent for a while, eating and drinking some water, until Greta got up to look out the window.
"What is it?" Eric asked walking to her.
"I just don't understand the life my mother led....it's like she had this secret life no one else knew about." she calmly said staring at the road outside.
"Well I'm sure we will find out more about the link between your mother and the Santos when we go back to the cabin...." he said putting his hand on her shoulder.

"Is it understood?" a male voice said talking on the phone.
Carmen was patiently waiting, comfortable sitting in a huge chair. she was listening carefully to the conversation that was taking place right before her eyes between her dear friend Stephano Dimera and a young woman, as he gave his orders over the phone. Their plan, which had gone perfectly until now, was threatening to fail now that Michelle and her friends were looking for the truth; a word that neither Carmen nor Stephano held dear to their heart. The truth would destroy their lifetime achievement.....Staphano's tone rose as he obviously had trouble with this woman on the phone.
"You do not talk about Princess Gina or her daughter Greta to these people, if they come to you asking for answers. Danny Santos and his wife Michelle might pay you a visit but in no circumstances should they learn the truth. And should they learn it from you you will wish we never crossed path. Is that clear?" Stephano ordered. "I know that you do not know these people but don't talk to anyone of the name Santos or Bauer..." he added.
"or Brady..." Carmen whispered aware that it was Eric and Greta who had contacted Danny and Michelle and asked for their help.
"Or Brady....Eric Brady. He is with Princess Gina's daughter. I do not want you anywhere near any of these people....Be careful." he said before hanging up.
Stephano explained to Carmen that Sheila knew only these people's names, that if they showed up at her doorstep, she would never recognize them. But they were reassured to know that Danny and Michelle hadn't contacted her yet. Carmen was looking at him with warning in her eyes. stephano was known for his questinable activities, even though very different from Carmen's. He always had his own motives when doing something but this time Carmen knew that they shared the same motive : burry the secret they had been keeping for years now and make sure Danny, Michelle, Greta and Eric wouldn't find out.
"She isn't a beginner at this trust me....she knows what she's doing and if someone goes down it will not be us." Stephano said taking Carmen's hands into his.
"If we only knew where they were...." Carmen started taking her cellphone out and dialed Dietz's cellphone number. "I will make sure that Michelle pays for sticking her nose in my business....Where are you Dietz!?" She muttered angrily, hanging up the phone.
"What's wrong?" Stephano asked.
"Dietz is not answering his cellphone." she spit out.

Michelle was sitting on the small bed in her and Danny's hotel room, when someone grabbed her by the waist from behind and made her jump. She might as well have kept her back to him for she knew it was Danny. She could recognize his touch and his hands among a million, but she turned around smiling tenderly to her husband. He gently lowered his lips on hers, never letting go of her waist.
"I meant to say....Thank you for doing all of this...." she whispered between kisses.
"Want me to do it again...." he teases with a sexy grin on his face, as he started kissing the delicate skin of her neck.
She playfully hit him on the shoulders, laughing and he looked up to her, softly brushing her lips with his.
"You know what I'm talking about. Thank you for coming here, and helping Greta..." she said more seriously.
"You're welcome....but you can thank me again if you want...." he smiled as their lips met again, this time in a much more passionate kiss.
"There is no Dietz...." Danny whispered as Michelle laughed.
"And no Carmen..." she added. "No interruptions??!!! is that even possible?" she asked between intense kisses.
At this very moment, there was a knock on the door. Michelle moaned and reluctantly broke the kiss, leaving Danny laughing.
"I guess not..." he whispered.
Michelle got up of the bed and slowly walked to the door, glancing over many times at Danny.
"Michelle?!" Cassie called from the other side of the door.
Michelle quickly opened the door and Cassie saw immediately she was interrupting, by the look on Michelle and Danny's face. Michelle was holding her laughter back but Cassie quickly apologized.
"I am sooo sorry...." she started. "I just....we had to tell you something....I am so sorry." Cassie said embarassed.
"It's ok Cassie." Danny smiled walking up to them. "We were actually just talking about....just talking." he said as he and michelle exchanged a secret look.
"talking....ok..." Cassie agreed not really convinced and even more embarassed. "Anyway, now that I am here....we have something to tell you. Jason and I talked to the guy at the front desk and when we mentioned Mr. santos he froze and then asked us to stay the night and then leave this place...." Cassie said with a questioning look in her eyes.
"What? He asked you to leave?" Michelle exclaimed.
"no no no..." Cassie quickly replied. "He asked US to leave and then he almost ran away from us saying we'd get everything we need for the night then we should never come back here. We ALL seem to be a very big problem for this man..." she clarified.
They all looked at each other in silence then Danny looked at Michelle with an inquireing look.
"Why would they be afraid of us?" Michelle asked.
"Who is afraid of us?" Cassie added to Michelle's question.
"The question is who should you be afraid of." Pilar said from the door, with Dietz by her side.
Michelle Cassie and Danny turned around shocked as they spotted the pair in the door way.
