Their hearts had stopped for a second, worrying about Carmen's face, about what she might have done and all the other possibilities that floated in their minds. Then they heard a car pull into the drive way and Danny, Michelle and billy headed outside followed by Greta and Eric.
The air was thick and the sky was grey. The rain had stopped but the fog was still very much surrounding the cabin. Danny saw Mac coming out of the car and her eyes filled with tears at the sight of Billy and Danny. Dietz was sitting in the backseat of the car and the police rushed to him. They called out for an ambulance when they found him bleeding to death from a gun shot wound.
Billy rushed down the alley and wrapped his arms around an obviously shaken Mackenzie. She could not keep it in anymore and she started to sob, burrying her face in his black sweater. Not so long ago, all the things she needed in him right now she found annoying. He was the guy she had a major cruch on - a secret one of all things. And now he was the only one she wanted to see. After getting involved in this adventure, they were eager to part ways and never see each other again, but as Billy held her close to his heart, finally, he could not even bare the thought of ever letting her go.
A small tear fell from his left eye as she held on tight to his neck. Her body shook with fear and relief as Michelle and Danny looked on, breathing a sigh of relief.
Then they saw Dietz being taken out of the car, a painful look on his face.
At that moment Mac pulled away from Billy whispering Pilar's name.
Pilar came out and rushed to the car followed by Danny. Their hearts stopped when they met Dietz's teary eyes. For a man who had always been one to hide his feelings in the presence of Pilar and Danny he looked the saddest he had ever looked before. Yet a soft smile spread across his face. If he had known this would be one of his last conversation with him, Danny would have found something else to says then "what happened to you?" Dietz did not answer and only took Pilar's hand into his. While all of this was going on, Jack and another officer dragged Carmen out of the cabin.
It all seemed to happen in slow-motion. Carmen locking eyes with Dietz for a mere second and then looking at Danny and Pilar who couldn't contain both their sadness and anger towards their mother. The atmosphere became more lonely than cold all of a sudden as they watched her being shoved into a
police car. Danny's eyes filled with tears as Michelle watched from a certain distance. All she wanted to do was run to him and take him in her arms. She could feel his hurt just by looking at his face and it killed her inside. She slowly walked towards him and placed her hand on his shoulder.Dietz still held Pilar's hand as he whispered something and Mac watched them from afar, knowing exactly what he was saying. She squeezed billy's hand as tears filled in her eyes. She and Dietz had gone back to Carmen's office at Dietz's request and there she had discovered the one secret Carmen had left in her sleeve. The file that Dietz had dreaded looking into in Carmen's computer revealed him the truth-a truth that set him free and brought a smile to his face for the first time in years.
"You're going to be ok." Pilar whispered as tears fell from her eyes and rolled all the way down her neck.
Right there, as he held her hand, Pilar watched her father slip away from her. She watched as he told her the truth and she cried as he smiled his way out of this world. Danny and Michelle stood there, stunned by the truth and touched by his last words. Pilar's tears were arrows through their hearts. Greta came over to them and her eyes locked with Danny's and Pilar's. In a matter ofinstant their whole lives had been turned upside down. Greta was Danny's half sister and Dietz was Pilar's real father. The news were too recent to even begin to grasp them entirely. Michelle saw the silent words spoken between Greta and Danny. There was so much to say yet so much emotion could not be spoken. Danny slowly walked to her, holding Michelle's hand tight in his as to empower his already weaken strength. He and Greta looked at each other for a few seconds and then Danny hesitantly took her in his arms. Greta's eyes filled with tears. Danny knew that for
Greta she had lost her mother all over again, and now she had lost a father. She had lost a father she had never even known. Their embrace was awkward at first and then seemed to feel a bit more comfortable. They had gotten the chance to get to know each other a little during this whole mess -- one which many could have described as a tragedy - and the strange closeness they had discovered had now been explained by Carmen's lies. Michelle could not help the small tears in her eyes as she watched her husband and Greta comfort each other. When they pulled away, Eric wrapped his arms around Greta's shoulders as Danny turned to Michelle who tenderly smiled to him taking him in her arms.Each and every one of them had been touched by the truths and the lies, by the actions and reactions..by each other. As the doctors arrived and began to look at Jason, Cassie, Billy, Mac, Pilar, Danny, Michelle, Nikky and Lucky as well as Greta and Eric, they all slowly realized the effects of the week that had just gone by.

Cassie's dials the phone and waits as she sits on the stairs of the porch. A huge smile spread across her face at the sound of her daughter's voice and tears fill in her eyes. All the things that she would give to hold her and RJ in her arms at this very moment. She is almost speechless for a little while as she simply listens to Tammy ramble about anything and everything. There is a weight lifted from her heart at the simply thought of her children, and God has she missed them so. At the same time Nikky and Lucky are being asked questions by Jack as a doctor takes a look at them. Cassie watches them pass her by and walk into the cabin as she quickly turns her attention to the phone. She whipes a few tears from her face..

Eric held Greta in his arms as they walked towards the police car. He took her hands into his and looked into her eyes as she softly smiled. It was finally over and there was a huge amount of relief in her eyes. He slowly bent down and brought her lips to his in a very sweet and tender kiss. With all the missed oportunities, the worries, the threats and the fears, he had completely fallen for her. There had never been so much at stakes before these past days and all he had been dreaming about was to hold her close in his arms. He was doing it now and it felt good. When he pulled away Greta smiled softly.

The policemen rushed by Danny and Michelle as they held each other tight. He looked into her eyes and saw the tears. He lost his breath for a while as he stared at her face. She had so much love in her embrace. He stroke her hair with his hand as she looked up to his eyes. His fear of losing her had never been as intense as they had been that day. Their lips met as tears fell from their eyes. They were going to survive this just as they had survived before. All they needed was to be together.

Cassie, Michelle and Danny left in the ambulance with Jason, followed by the others who were in police cars. Was this really over? They would never really know. So much had been revealed yet so much was still unrevealed. All they really knew for sure was that they were together and they knew the truth, if not all at least some of it.

How had all of this happened? How had Carmen managed to keep this a secret? What would happen to Stephano and Sheila who had been taken away in a police car? As Cassie described it herself "A real masterplan never really gets resolved...that's why it is called a masterplan." You never really understand it fully or resolve it entirely.
