His blond hair in a mess under his blue cap, his big bag of mail hanging on his left side, he walked up to the Santos mansion, . He stopped himself and looked up at the huge house before his eyes. His nose was stuck in his bag when Maria opened the door, her perfect smile gracing her Italian face. The elderly mailman handed Maria a pile of letters - a few addressed to Pilar, many to Carmen and a couple for Danny and Michelle.
Maria thanked him and also handed him some mail of her own, that needed to be delivered right away.
She quickly went back inside the house a delivered the mail to everyone inside. Danny was in the library when Maria handed him a few letters.

Danny,
Our last meeting changed everything and I owe you a very big thank you for all you've done. I don't know what your motives are but I will do whatever it takes to ensure this is done properly. You do not need to thank me. This is just my way of repaying you for all the help you gave me in the past few weeks with the control of the business. I have found some pretty interesting news about your mother that I think you and your wife should be aware of right away. I will be taking my sister to SF on the date we had already set. Meet me there. - SFP -

When Maria found Carmen she was in the lobby with Ben warren, getting ready to leave. She handed her a huge pile of envellopes and Carmen quickly dug in to take a specially marked evellope out of the pile. She opened it and started reading.

Carmen,
It is always a pleasure to do business with you, although we might have a little problem. This man doing business with your son Daniel has put his nose where he shouldn't have, and I fear your son's wife is going to get an earful from another of her girlie pal. I know how much you worked on this with me and I would hate to see it get blown up in pieces when we are so near the end. I am heading off to Paris in a few days but please keep an eye on your son and his new wife or your entire plan could be ruined.

When Maria arrived in Danny and Michelle's bedroom, looking for the lovely new Mrs. Santos, she found the young woman, drinking coffee and laughing her heart out with Cassie. She came to the table and smiled to both women before giving Michelle her share of mail. Cassie greated Maria with a little hello and a smile and before she knew it Maria had left the room. Michelle and Cassie exchanged a look and they both started laughing again as Michelle found one of the letters strange. She and Cassie carefully opened it and Michelle started reading.
Europe
Michelle,
I know you weren't expecting to hear from me anytime soon. I wouldn't blame you if you even thought I was dead. It is a long story and one I unfortunately do not have the time to tell you right now. I visited our old school in Europe recently and wanted to call you. And i did so, only to find out you were now married.
I am writing to you to ask for your help. I came here to find answers about my past and what I found so far made no sense, but when I learned you had married in the Santos family, I thought you might be a huge help. So many things have happened and it would be too long to explain it all to you in a simple letter. I will be staying in Paris for a few weeks and I really do think that you and your husband you should take a look at what we found. Maybe you can help us.......
Please do not speak of this to anyone, but Danny. I know he has the means to get here fast and I really do think you should both come and see for yourself. A lot of lives depend on this information, but I cannot say more about it in this letter. I really do hope you get this before anything happens......I really miss you Michelle. It has been so long, and I apologize for any pain I might have caused you in the past. You were the only friend I had here......I wish you were here right now. I hope to see you again soon.
Your friend

Cassie put her hand on Michelle's shoulder when she saw the tears in the corner of her eyes. Michelle let herself fall on the bed as Cassie quickly sat beside her.
"What is it? who is this from?" Cassie asked concerned.
"This was a dear friend of mine.....but...it's impossible." Michelle answered reading a few parts of the letter again.
"Why is it impossible?" Cassie said as Michelle took a hold of herself.
"Because we all thought she died a few years back....." Michelle answered.
"Are you sure it's really her?" Cassie said sounding suspicious.
"I can feel that it's her.....and I know she would never ask for my help if something wasn't wrong. She mentioned Danny and the Santos....." Michelle started with a glimpse of fear in her voice.
"That can't be good." Cassie finished.
"No it can't. But you can't talk about this to anyone....." Michelle told her.
"I won't. What are you going to do?"
"I have to talk to Danny about this.....I know something is wrong. I haven't heard from Greta in ages and now I learn that she is suddenly alive and needs me and Danny...." Michelle said almost to herself with a confused look on her face.
"If there is anything I can do to help....I owe you guys for all you did for us and Reva. If you need anything.....you know I'm here." Cassie said hugging Michelle.
"I'll keep that in mind. thank you, but you don't owe me anything. Danny and I were glad to help you and your family."
"Then I will be as glad to help you and Danny with this thing, whatever it is...." Cassie assured. "and this girl.....it seems like you two were very close friends."
"We were....we are." she answered looking at the letter. "Greta Von Hamburg." Michelle read on the returning address.
