She doesn't have any defense power until she picks up a lazer gun when she's on Avalon as an old woman. Background: Katherine was born in Castle Wyvern when the castle was populated by Gargoyles. She didn't have much of a liking to them. When she became an adult, she didn't like them. She realized too late that the Gargoyles were the good guys. For ignorance to the fact that Gargoyles protect she told Goliath she'd do anything. He asked her to take care of the Gargoyle eggs in the rookery and she vowed she would. To honor the vow, she took the eggs to her uncle's castle and watched over them. While she was there her uncle was murdered by the captain of the guards, Constantine and he became king. He was also going to make the Princess as queen. With help, Katherine was able to move the Gargoyle eggs from the castle to safe place. The Magus promised to take Katherine to a place where Constantine would never find her, Avalon. On Avalon, she fell in love with Tom basically became husband and wife. They raised the Gargoyle eggs as if they were their own children. Katherine never knew of the Magus's true feelings for her. On Avalon for every day in the real world is only one hour on Avalon. Katherine and her friends have lived on Avalon for 43 years. |
