Dr. Dhanakar Thakur
Born on August 01, 1955, Forbesganj(Sitaganj), Araria, ancestral village- Samaul (madhubani), passed his SSC LeeAcademy, Forbesganj with Ist Div. and I.Sc from Ranchi College, topped in Ranchi Uiniversity. Selected in PMT in 1973, took admission in Darbhanga Medical College ,did MBBS, MD(Gen.Med), DCH; came Ranchi again in 1985 to edit books on neurosciences with Dr.K.K.Sinha; took up a job in the CCL; joined Bihar State Health Service and left; worked in J.J Hospital, Mumbai in Cardiac cath.lab; joined Mecon Ranchi in 1990.He has learnt Russian, French and just recently Deonagari typing for writing Maithili articles himself.
On the removal Maithili from the BPSC joined maithili movement in april
1992,convened Ist International Maithili conference at Ranchi during
June 19-20,1993 where Antarrastriya Maithili Parishad was founded,
undertook various padyatras/cycleyatras, and visited almost every
place of Maithils to Organize them for the Maithili's inclusion in
the VIII Schedule and the Mithila State (which remains life goal now),
also edits Maithili Sandesh.learnt Russian,French and just recently
Deonagari typing for writing maithili articles himself.
Hobbies include History,Indology,Archeology,reading and writing and
meeting people of different age and languages.
Dr. Bhubaneshwar Prasad Gurumaita President AMP,
An eminent
literatteur,vicpresident of Bhartiya sahitya parishad belongs to Matiai
village of Supaul,retd. prof.& HOD,Hindi,Hisar agriculture
University had his thesis on Jyotirishwar Thakur's Varn
ratnakar';(around 1400 pages) and has recently two grands volumes
of his writings on Jyotirishwar's age to the higest academic bodies of
the GOI.
